Just let it happen (Help if you can)

Well they have the stadium for 250 years, have the finance and are getting more gigs. We have nothing. So based on that, I would say they are better at business than SISU. Plus the council love them and they get everything they want. All we have to do with the council takes place at appeal...

Have you included the TV rights, extra kit sales etc.?

    Legal action

After an earlier defeat TF claimed the decision to be wrong in law and in fact. The decision was endorsed on appeal and the judge was even praised for his decision. So, it looks like SISU are on a loser. If it runs and runs and ends up costing SISU loads of time and money ( depending on if...

Yes, we have the Trust, the supporters group and we had the new stadium group. Progress = nil. I think we have had more experience with protests and have seen what gets noticed and what goes under or becomes negative for our cause. We need numbers. To get that we have to propose something that...

Ok. We are in the close season now and we may get some deal from Wasps in the meantime and/ or lose interest in a joint protest with CRFC, but... If we are still up for a protest when the season starts, how would you suggest working together to come to a joint adult approach?

Point taken - by me. But now we are involved, is there common ground for some sort of joint protest? Or are Rugby fans generally happy with Wasps being here?

Out of interest, what was your form of protest 18 months ago? Or did you accept the version at the time that Wasps were going to work together and were not a threat? Have you benefited from Wasps' arrival?

Because the negotiations are on hold. I think - rightly or wrongly - nothing positive will Happen as long as the JRs are there. Trench warfare. Both sides dug in.

I would say that there is more to this than meets the eye, but that the JRs are an impediment to a peace agreement. Wasps have put everything on hold because of the background noise and they are in bed with CCC and own ACL. They took over ACL with all rights and all liabilities - maybe the JRs...

All parties sit at a table in a locked room and aren't allowed out until a Solution to the Stadium and academy problem is found. Somewhere along the line the JRs must stop. Doesn't matter which party insists or what the trade off is. You cannot negotiate in this atmosphere - as we can see.

I would have thought the council would be happy if legal actions were stopped.

Is suggesting that we come and make a united fan base a St Trinian's misdemeanour? We ( our club ) could be your Partners soon. Both clubs could be adversly affected by Wasps expansion. I would have thought we shared ( at least in part ) the Same agenda. Our club is/ was negotiating with Wasps...

Northampton pissed everybody off, but it is history. What is needed now is a decision on where we are going. We should all support and follow our team, but..... we are lacking a clear plan. No-one knows where we will land up, or for that matter, what SISU's or Wasps' end game is. Every few weeks...

You obviously don't read every post I make and looking at the time of your post, I would think you just rolled in from the pub.

But, who opens the ground? What do the police say? I think it would be easier to join forces at a home game - maybe have the half half scarfs made up - .CRFC / CCFC. Even if not enough city fans turn up the ground won't be empty so we avoid a potential embarrassment if things don't work out...

Bearing in mind that CRFC may be our new partners, there would be a logic to joining forces to show that there are other sports teams than Wasps in Coventry.

A packed house at the Butts with a united rugby and football fan base would not be a bad idea. The attendance money would go to Wasps rivals instead of Wasps and it would be a good test for the infrastructure argument. City fans could get to know the area and see what TF is talking about. There...
