The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I think that the facts speak for themselves - they are neither arrogant nor insulting - just facts ( and no it doesn't mean all leavers are thick ).

Scotland and Northern Ireland gave the right answer. Get over it and let them decide if they want to leave the Union to stay in the EU.

Most here think we are mad and arme not envying us ( far right and racists excepted ). Yesterday was shock in Germany. Today the snide anti British comments have started... And a few people have said they won't buy my British products because of Brexit. They asked my daughter if she has applied...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Good, but I still think we should ask them through a referendum. It is a bit arrogant to decide for them.

Are the Germans pissed off because of us not paying in? Maybe that will come, but at the moment they are stunned. They cannot understand our 'suicide'. I was interviewed 5 times by papers and TV on Friday. The papers are full of interviews with Brits and Germans who are connected with the UK...

Do you class a vote that could destroy the Union as pro English? If so will you be backing Referenda in Scotland and Northern Ireland?

Our lead being scaring the electorate with racist propaganda and associated bullshit and then jetisoning ourselves into the unknown - probably destroying the Union in the process. Yes, I can see a lot of sensible people following our lead e.g. Le Pen, Petry.. supported vocally by the likes of...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No-one was talking about the eurozone. The comments about countries being shackled to the euro are not relevant here. The referendum was about the EU, not the Euro.

I think the 'out is out' bit is referring to the democratic result of the referendum. You wanted it, you got it.

anti UK? I am one of approximately half the UK who think that the UK will have more problems out than in.

As regards Scotland rejoining - it was you who said that 'if' they left the UK for the EU they would be bankrupt within a week. Future conditional which I was replying to. Up until now the EU has propped up all basket cases. At the moment we have no PM ( or rather only a lame duck ) and no deal...

Yes it does prop up basket cases with the intention of helping them recover. Thank fuck they do. The European/ EU values are different to those of, say, a hedge Fund. It is not a case of buy a country to make a quick buck.

If all our own goods were good enough and cheap enough we would be using them now. If you remove competition the price will rise and the quality will drop.

If Scotland rejoined the EU, do you think the EU would let them go under?

I am more interested in where we are going with Northern Ireland and Scotland - not to mention London and Gibralter. They clearly want to remain. Plenty of fuel for future arguments. Plus younger people wanted us to stay in. I'm all for referenda in Scotland and Northern Ireland. England should...

So we are out, don't have a plan and it is up to us. ( Sounds familar ). We are laughing stock because of this attitude. The EU needs reforming and it will be reformed now. We gave them a wake up call, but we will only be spectators.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yes. But a Referendum result to put us into an uncertain future is not very clever. Anyway, I'm staying in. I am going to try to get dual nationality. I will apply for German citizenship next week. Some over here with Irish parents will be applying for Irish passports. Scotland and Northern...

Ni are going nowhere as they are very reliant on the uk and won't want to get into bed with the broke south, Scotland good luck with going oils worth about as much as water and their other specialism is unemployment. People sometimes vote with more emotion than common sense, so the break up of...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

It shows the danger of referenda. People have, at least partly, against e.g. Cameron and immigration and not solely for the supposed benefits of leaving. The older people have voted totally against the wishes of the younger ones. Probably would have been better to leave the decision to the...
