Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bolton Wanderers Match Thread - Saturday 8th Feb

Fairly average performance so far, but got that goal which is important. They look a poor side but we keep over playing it in their final third. Dabo is having one of the worst games I’ve seen him have, he’s barely done a thing right since he put the cross in for the goal. O’Hare probably our...

I don’t think we’ll fall away. Simply remain in the position we have been for the majority of the season.

Apologies. We're going to win the league with 99 points. Godden to get to Golden Boot with 25 goals in his last 15 games. Nothing but overwhelmingly positive opinions allowed!

Biamou and Bakayoko may have missed a few good chances tonight but Godden doesn't even get himself into the positions to have chances. How many shots has he had since Tranmere? How many times has he touched the ball inside the opposition box?

Godden is afforded a lot more leeway that Bakayoko or Biamou ever were.

Hamstring injuries are always dodgy. Doesn’t take much for them to end up worse than first thought. Hope he’s ok, one of our best players.

I'd start Baka on Saturday against Bolton. Godden hasn't had a single good game since Tranmere. Not too bothered about losing tonight as league is 100x more important, but not happy about playing a needless extra 30 minutes ahead of an incredibly busy and tough period of games. Hopefully the...

What exactly is pessimistic about stating that we’re focusing on the league after we put out a weakened side in a cup game? For the record, I’m glad we are. I want us to focus on the league. Keep looking for things that aren’t there though.

Looks like we’re not arsed. Focusing on the league.

Surprised at how similar our record after 27 games is now as to what it was in the infamous Mowbray season. Under Mowbray in 15/16: P27 W13 D9 L5 GF 47 GA 27 Pts 48 This season: P27 W12 D12 L3 GF 38 GA 27 Pts 48

What have I said that isn't factual? We're 5 points off top and 6 points ahead of 9th. It's an incredibly tight league with very little breathing room. We all saw what happened in 15/16 when we were in an equally good position as we are now and things took a turn for the worse. A little...

    Remaining fixtures

Worst part of this league is despite having done so well so far this season we're as far away from the autos as we are from upper mid-table. All it takes is one good or bad run of form to completely swing it one way or the other.

    Home form

we've only played 5 homes games in the league since the end of October, weird season. Won our first 5 but only won 3 of the following 8.

    Next Three League Games

Our record against 'good sides' under Robins is pretty good. 22/42 against the sides who finished above us last season and 18/36 from the rest of the top 7 in our League Two promotion season.

    Next Three League Games

Playing Portsmouth, Rotherham, Sunderland and Ipswich in such close proximity is brutal, real make or break stuff for our season. Pick up 7+ points there and we'll be in a great position to do something. The big question with our home form is 'is it good because it just is, or is it good...
