    Mcginnity passed away

As someone has already said, think that is best left to another thread. The bloke has just died, do we really want a 30 page debate on here as to how bad a chairman he was? Let's not rip into him on here, eh and let people pay their respects. The title of the thread is 'Mike McGinnity passed...

Who watches American Football in the UK?

Hmm, so that's why we had one NFL game here every year, which was then increased to two NFL games a year and now this year has 3 NFL games here and why every game is sold out and 500,000 people turn out for the annual Regent Street NFL zone day. A London franchise of an NFL team to be in place...

    Mcginnity passed away

Didn't know he was still alive! How old was he? He seemed to be 70 something when he was here. RIP anyway. Always sad to see anyone pass away. Will we have a black armband and minute's silence for him I wonder. I guess we will, but it could be a bit contentious, cos he was very much at...

    Villa vs Wycombe aftermath

It's disgraceful, that's why! He's our player, not theirs and he should have been watching us not them! The fact we didn't have a game is neither here or there. This kind of thing really annoys me. We pay him thousands of pounds a week to sit on our treatment table and to sit in our stands. Why...

Who watches American Football in the UK?

Anyone watch the Bengals v Steelers game last night? Unbelievable! 1 min 23 seconds left, winning and with the ball already in field goal range, the Bengals, instead of just a hand off for a safe run of half a yard or no gain to kill the clock, the running back went to try for a longer gain and...

    Stephen Hunt Signs

Most definitely. To pin all your goalscoring hopes on one player is a precarious thing to do for sure. Injury, tiredness, suspension, loss of form. Any of those are possible over a 19 game stretch. We most definitely need another striker without doubt.

    Man Utd v Sheff Utd

Animal is a tad extreme don't you think? He does throw himself into challenges though for sure.

    Video technology.

I love American Football with a passion and think it's a fantastic game. Why would anyone consider it not a sport? Don't get it. Fine if someone doesn't like it, but in what way doesn't it qualify as a sport?

Don't think we choose, it just sort of creeps up on you when you're not looking.

    Man Utd v Sheff Utd

Errr ... trouble is, they play Wigan on Tuesday in the league, wouldn't we want them to take a point or three there, rather than have a Wigan win?

Can we approach the FL then to try and get some points back in the games we weren't 'beaten?'

Yep. I hate it when we take our foot off the pedal and relax. Very dangerous thing to do.

Is that how football works then? I pity the team that has to play Exeter next in the league . ;)
