    Weak Minded Fans...

Im not just talking about a few fans, who knows how many will go as the season progresses. My personal view is the fewer people that go, the more pressure (financial and via media) will be applied on the owners to resolve the situation and return to coventry. If sixfields was full every week...

    Weak Minded Fans...

The fact is there is no particular right or wrong in this argument (some fans will want to watch the team wherever they play, some will never accept the current situation), but the fans going to sixfields must accept that by doing so we are unlikely to return to Coventry for at least five years...

    The end of nopm?

ps the additional revenue from beers, burgers etc would be irrelevant if the team is challenging at the top of the league paying a sensible rent at the Ricoh. SISU need to go back to ACL cap in hand and do a deal, a fantastic season would be wasted by staying at Sixfields as next year we will be...

    The end of nopm?

I wonder how long it will take SISU to realise that a team playing well, winning and scoring goals would be attracting 15k-20k at the Ricoh. Staying away could end up costing them £200k-£300k a game (that's excluding the all important burger money !!!). A crazy decision, even for the seemingly...

    CCFC Statement

I agree, all this will only lead to apathy amongst fans. To cov4Iife, i would say that SISU have hardly run rings around anyone. They now have the team playing in front of a few hundred home fans, taking far less revenue which will significantly increase losses. Unless acl folds this will...

    Hmrc

That comment is totally incorrect. Of course they accept cva's, just not ones they don't agree with (to be fair it their claim was significant PA would've spent more time trying to please them, but it was insignificant)

Can we not raise the rent between us...

The rent is paid out of the additional monies generated by remaining in coventry (larger crowds going to games). It's a no brainier. The fact is either solution will be dismissed by sisu as it doesn't tie in with their own plans

Can we not raise the rent between us...

I'm sure he'll get it to the club on letterheaded paper in due course

ACL move things up a few gears

PAs main obligation is to act in the best interest of all creditors. Whilst the deal on the table is, on the face of it, providing the best return to creditors, TF has also stated the club will never play at the Ricoh, so it actually increases creditor (acl) claim by millions or tens of...

Can we not raise the rent between us...

Great idea. The fact is there is a similar offer on the table from Hoffman. Financially there is no reason/benefit in the club being moved to NTCF for 3-5 years. Lets just hope the FL recognise this.

    Timmy in 'The Times'

Ps in life everyone is accountable for their actions. I really do hope that SISU and people like TF (and to some extent PA) are held to account. Some might think they have always been one step ahead. I personally believe they are just digging a deeper hole for themselves.

    Timmy in 'The Times'

Exactly. It's about time someone really pushed the club on this. There is no real cost and potentially substantial benefits to the club if they agree to Hoffmans offer...unless the aim is to distress ACL. If any of those supporting sisu believe different I'd like to know their reasons. The...

    Fisher rejects Hoffman offer

I reckon if they agree to throw in all of the pie and burger money it will surely be a done deal ! That extra £5k-£10k per game will make all the difference

    here comes fisher

Everyone's entitled to their opinion but one question I have for those supporting SISUs actions (previously raised in the thread) is if they wanted to gain the benefits of the stadium why didnt they just buy Higgs share (Through the club). That way i wouldve thought theyd receive the benefits of...

Have ACL been completely beaten here

Yes, Northampton are getting a 12m loan from their council. I wonder if they realise their new tenants actions could cause them issues !!! Different circumstances but I'm sure if the case goes ahead various clubs circumstances will be questioned.

Have ACL been completely beaten here

Agree 100%. Financially fishers reasons/motives don't really add up, unless as I mentioned in another post, they plan to be in this for years and years (not the usual behaviour of a hedge fund)

What happened when Rangers administrator tried to sell the Golden Share?

You'd have thought that sisu would be doing everything in their powers to appease the major non associated creditor then...rather than saying they will never play at the Ricoh again (which worsens their position as creditor) and screw them into the ground

    Fisher on CWR 8am tomorrow

I'd like someone to ask how's many years sisu are in this for as it will take them years and years (and a lot of luck) to get anywhere near what they have invested, let alone what they now plan to invest in a new stadium. Three years at Northampton and our turnover would've dropped off a cliff...

Wake up supporters - you are being conned!

I think the question on everyone's lips is how much actual cash have they (recently) and will they, throw at this. Not much I guess...apart from 40m on this new stadium : )

Wake up supporters - you are being conned!

I'm sure that isn't their intention but that's what they are coming out and saying (bluff or not). If they hadnt lost trust and respect from the other stakeholders in this like acl, the council, the Higgs trust and the supporters maybe they could negotiate a return to the Ricoh. Playing hardball...
