We don't talk about that even though everyone knows which players were brought in by either Robins or Adi. I've got no issue letting him work with Lampard and seeing what we do. If we have someone better lined up i'm all for it though, maybe Lampard has his own contacts that would be an upgrade?
Would genuinely try and offload BTA to Stoke if Robins wants him, take a loss. I'm generally positive about our players but i cannot see where he fits in. We'd have been better getting a proper right forward to compete with Sakamoto.
I agree, i enjoyed the cup last year and i'm not saying i don't want to try at all (see Wrexham at home) but i'd rest a couple and see what happens. Wouldn't be gutted put it that way.
Just realised there is a hefty break between this and the next league game. You'd have to think Wright has a chance of being ready for that, at least i hope so!
I'm pretty sure the only joy I'll get this season is the failure of others (we are so back!) So if Leeds and Burnley could go and get top 2 and Blunts and Blunderland both fuck it in the play offs that would be ideal.
Wright could play on the right in theory just as well as on the left as he's very 2 footed, but i suspect he'll go down the middle as the other strikers aren't doing enough.
Just the introduction of him and EMC obviously makes a huge difference to this team, to most teams in the league it would...
I like Rudoni, think he's really good.
Don't rate many of the players that were pursued by Robins specifically (Kitching, BTA, Binks looking like an absolute huge waste of money) but do think he's left us a quality player in Rudoni.
