    Walsall (Away) Match Thread

There would have been twice as much noise as normal if the team hadn't been so outplayed and two of our best players hadn't been crocked. Seems to me that there is a handful of 'super fans' who prefer the club all to themselves at times.

    Why I would sell Maddison

Tell you what, why don't we just sell any of our young players with any promise right at the start of the season for whatever cash we can get for them without ever really seeing any major benefit to our own promotion hopes for at least a season. Continually doing this will consign us to forever...

    Walsall (Away) Match Thread

Way too many false dawns, probably a hard dose of reality for the SBA. All that said, a much better start than I anticipated and a win against Southend and the bandwagon will be up and running again !

    Airshow crash footballers killed

What a tragedy for those guys from Worthing United at that age ! I noticed as well that they seem to also wear our Nike Kit at Worthing, on first seeing the pictures I thought it was something to do with Cov.

    The beer bottle

And that's why the rugger buggers can have a drink through the game in their seats and we can't !

    Walsall (Away) Match Thread

Yup the starting 11 look pretty good at this level but a few injuries/suspensions/recalls etc and we are very fragile. We need a few more in for me to sustain a challenge.

    New ticket outlet

My wife and I were there that day.................I've never felt so cold as in that stand that afternoon ! It ended our win run but we got off lightly as they missed that last minute kick from close in !

    Latest odds

As the team stands now with everyone fit and playing I think we'll be up there but this is City and we have SISU as owners so I'm fully expecting Reda to get crocked, Newcastle to recall Armstrong and the owners to flog Maddison in January...........bloody hope not though !

Coventry is Indeed Becoming Like London

We went to a little back st restaurant near the Vatican. It was full of priests and other regulars. It was cheap and authentic. That was 10 years ago and I've never been able to find cannelloni that comes even close to that anywhere.

    New ticket outlet

I fully intend to be supporting both teams this season again and I'm glad they are working together to support each other. Just imagine how good for the City it would be if both teams were competing for promotion this year. I've done the first two City home games and have tickets for the 3rd. We...

    Walsall (Away) Match Thread

Can't believe we can only get 2,200 tickets for this one. I reckon with the capacity we would take about 3,500 !

Coventry is Indeed Becoming Like London

You're just nervous you've offended that many people on here and that someone might twig who you are in Coventry ?!

Coventry is Indeed Becoming Like London

Went there with the wife, Food was ok, views and décor fantastic but the service was poor really and they need some training. We had our main courses dumped on us before we had finished the starters. Could be really good though if they can get it right !

    Nice article in the Independent

Did Rich think they took us on out of the kindness of their heart ?? Especially that gold digger with a very nearly apt name !

Coventry is Indeed Becoming Like London

No mate, if you are driving you park at Belgrade Plaza car park just off the inner ring road which is safe and monitored and all those places are a short walk from there. All pubs have decent real ale at good prices { The Old Windmill is on Spon St which is quite impressive for visitors } and...

Coventry is Indeed Becoming Like London

That's not quite true, there are plenty of decent food and drink runs around CV1, not if you want Michelin star but decent enough. One we do is drinks in the Old Windmill, Gatehouse, Town Wall Tavern and steaks at 'Artisan' all a short walk from each other with a quality car park on site.

Coventry City FC need 11,000 fans at every home game....

If we beat Walsall there will be over 15000 for the Bank Holiday match !

    Nice article in the Independent

If we have a successful time of it this season then people need to remember that it will be down to Tony Mowbray, his staff and the fans that have backed them with their money. SISU are contributing nothing as is their stance now so I sincerely hope we don't get any idiots lavishing any praise...
