    You should perhaps look how resentful and offensive as well as bitter and jealous you actually come across. Perhaps rather than whine about what you haven’t got write a gratuity list as to what you have and some of this burning resentment may be released

    Yep I’m 59 and my parents never even owned a house. My first house was a rather grim flat which I was paying over 50% of my income on a 15% interest and I ended up £5 grand (15% of its value) in negative equity. I had two jobs to pay the mortgage. The victim mentality is pathetic
