Have to say, I thought Judd Trump played magnificently in that Final, especially the afternoon session. O'Sullivan just didn't get going. Honestly thought this was O'Sullivan's to lose, never expected to see him 7-1 down.

    Death List 2019

It happened to Gene Wilder as well. I googled his name to see how old he was, couple of days later, there it was in the news....

I was only talking about how Windsor Davies was still alive on Boxing day, as well!

    Marc McNulty to Sunderland?

If he does, you just know he'll score against us next time we play them.

Must have been. Especially with the kind of pot you'd expect to get almost every time you play it. Still, I've always said you can spend hours practicing and perfecting your play, and it'll help you develop in general. But the one thing you can't replicate in practice is that pressure of a big...

Yep, held it together well for the last two frames. Brecel missing a red he'd pot with his eyes closed in any other circumstances!

Ding just commited the old three misses and frame conceded, to go 4-5 down. Can't believe he didn't change his shot, puts him right on the cusp!

    Dirty Leeds!

Surely the only reason there is any outrage about this is because they got caught? I'd say its a pretty safe bet that there are more teams that do this than they'd ever care to admit. And if the Football League haven't realised that, then they're incredibly naive.

Of the current ones, I probably have most time for Stephen Hendry. If anyone is qualified to offer their opinions and anysis of their sport, he's probably the person most qualified to do so. I also like that he's the one commentator who doesn't lick O'Sullvan's arse whenever he commentates on...

My Current favourite is Mark Williams. The guy was pretty much finished, fought back, won the world championship, really respect that. Past favourite has to be Hurricane Higgins. I know he had a turbulent lifestyle, but a true entertainer who was playing a different kind of snooker to almost...

    Gigs thread 2019

Looking a bit quiet for me at the minute, not a bad thing after 2 Iron Maiden tours in 2 years and the Nightwish show in December too. My bank balance took a bit of an assault over that! Might be some local pub/small venue gigs coming up later in the year, but nothing Arena sized. Yet anyway....

If it wasn't so tragically crap, and it was another team, It'd be a hilarious balls up.

What I don't understand is why we've got such a reluctance to have a go, rather than pass the ball into the goal? Take a shot. Might get a deflection for a goal, corner, might get it back for another go. If you don't try anything, you won't get anything. Can't keep taking that extra touch...

How in the name of God did Hiwula bollocks that up? Absolutely pathetic. Outrageous, actually fuming.

    Thank god

I guess if I was Clough I'd be tempted to make changes, save as many first team players for league games. No point risking them getting injured for a lost cause, surely? Then again, I suppose you have to think about if that sends a message to the players involved tonight.

    Burton, I mean.

    Thank god

In all seriousness, tough as it will be they've got to forget the score tonight and focus on the positive of how we'll they've done to get to a league Cup semi final.

Has a second leg of a cup game ever been more pointless?

Will Man City play for a draw in the second leg? It's either going to be the greatest sporting comeback in history... Or a total bore fest.
