    VAR tonight

I do tend to agree that this situation with teams not being able to celebrate goals is probably my biggest gripe about it. It does take a lot of the joy out of celebrating when it's being reviewed. That's something that feels awkward just watching on a TV screen, so it must be even more awkward...

    VAR tonight

But to balance that out, look at the Bradford game. They didn't have it and it took all of 6 minutes to decide if it was a goal for Oxford, a goal kick retake for Bradford, and between the referee and two linesmen they made a mess of it. What I would say though is that if it is going to be used...

    VAR tonight

I don't think he knew what he was doing with it himself in all honesty! Got caught in two minds I think. Going to get a few texts from his mates about it though, no doubt.

    VAR tonight

That was a shocker. It was a rookie error too, didn't get his thumbs behind it in the "w" shape.

    VAR tonight

Brighton should have won their game In the last minute of extra time. Ruled out for offside, wrongly. No VAR in use. They do win the shootout in sudden death though.

    Oxford v Bradford

It's enough to make your head spin! He might as well have gone and asked the fourth official his opinion as well, just to complete the set!

    F1 2019 Season Thread

Has to be said, that new fastest lap point will lead to some very interesting late race battles through the season. Bottas drove like someone with a point to prove, and prove his point he did. Don't know about Ferrari. Was it just a specific problem for this circuit? Were Mercedes Reay...

    F1 2019 Season Thread

It's a ludicrous deal. Like I said earlier on the thread I've had Sky's package since it began, but there's no denying it's likely to do harm long term. It was similar for me getting into it. Used to catch it with my Grandad during Sunday dinner, an on and off thing, just a passing interest...

    Six Nations 2019

I think we just became far too complacent. How many times did we give passes away and they were clean through for the try?

    Six Nations 2019

Turned into the biggest bottlejob I've ever seen!

    I'll say it

I've always maintained throughout the season that I didn't think we were that far away from being a decent side, at the minute we're proving that.

Match Thread Peterborough United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 16th Mar

Get in! Thoroughly earned, thoroughly deserved win. Biggest win of our season so far as far as I'm concerned. We've put ourselves right up in the mix. Burge did very well today. Crucial saves, assist for our second. That's what we need from him. Well taken goals, absolutely abysmal officiating...

Match Thread Peterborough United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 16th Mar

How on earth between the officials none of them managed to see that is pathetic.

Have to give him credit. Burge has made some good saves today and an assist. Done well.

Slow start, mostly Peterborough so far. Struggling to get a foothold.

    Council Statement due today

The man is a complete joke. If he can't stand up to a bit of pre recorded questioning on local radio, how the hell is he fit enough to be a council leader? Just a complete shambles.

    Council Statement due today

Was it what you call a "car crash" interview? I'm only just about to listen to it played back now.
