Match Thread Accrington Stanley vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Mar

Good win that. Could have had more in the end, but three points is all that matters! Couple of hard earned wins in the last couple of games, feel like they've put a few grey hairs on me!

    Wasps action

Unless they're changing it on a game by game basis, not sure if that would cost extra or be included in whatever price they paid for it. I think it was a link to a CT story I read it in, can't remember for certain. I may be wrong, it just seemed to be in my memory that's what I'd read. It is...

Isn't it something to do with advertising our fixtures? A bit like the one that the pests have right next to it?

We criminally underused Aloisi. We had him at the wrong time, really, with Hucks and Whelan being so in form.

    Brian Richardson.

As a 10 year old lad at the time, it all seemed very exciting. They seemed to be changing times, and that we were about to take a major step forward. Being a young kid, of course, meant I had a very simplistic, probably naive view of such things. Never even occurred to me about the politics...

Match Thread Accrington Stanley vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Mar

Stanley are another one of those bogey teams for us aren't they? (plenty to choose from, I know!) Their form of late hasn't been brilliant, until they played Oxford that is. They looked fragile at the back against Sunderland, but still very much a threat going forward. And as others have said...

    March to the arch to

That's likely to be the problem. Stanley are exactly the kind of team we should look to take the points from, but usually end up taking nothing from.

    Arrizabalaga vs Sarri

Yep, just throwing his authority down the drain. He'll get walked over like a doormat every time now, if he stays in the job that is.

    Arrizabalaga vs Sarri

He has to be. Doesn't matter if the players like him or not. The manager HAS to have the decisive say. You can't have players overruling the manager like that, especially not so publicly and in a game televised around the world.

    Arrizabalaga vs Sarri

The ref went over to ask Sarri what he wanted, which was when Sarri caved in, changed his mind, smashed his seat, and went to walk out. They even began to announce the change over the tannoy too.

    Arrizabalaga vs Sarri

Literally refused to go off! Stood on the pitch waving his arms and finger in a very defiant way. Right at the end of extra time as well! It was going to take an army to drag him off.

    Arrizabalaga vs Sarri

Did anyone else just see the incident between Arrizabalaga and Sarri? Gets injured, Sarri wants to sub him for Caballero. Arrizabalaga blankly refuses to go off! And Sarri backed down, almost walked out of the stadium! Sarri has now publicly lost control of his team. I've never seen the like before.

    Stockdale/Burge

The whole thing just gets worse every time I see it.

Match Thread Luton Town vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Sunday 24th Feb

Right, time to start calming down! Got to be happy with a point in the end. Felt sure Luton had a second goal coming. We were playing for that point from very early in the second half. We looked at our best after Luton scored, showed we're capable of giving the best sides a run. We didn't get...

For all his criticism this game, Burge did well there.
