Best and worst ever Christmas present you have been given

Yeah. I was a fairly heavy drinker at the time so he thought he'd take the piss a bit. Still necked the shandy though:o

Best and worst ever Christmas present you have been given

A long time back we did a secret santa where I used to work. My mate pulled my name out of the hat and got me 4 bottles of shandy and an erasure cd. Best present ever. :D

Best and worst ever Christmas present you have been given

Best present I had was a second hand Destroyer BMX when I was a kid. I'd had my bike nicked about 2 months before and was distraught. Bet it only cost £30-40 too. Worst was when I moved into my own house and my whole family decided to buy me hand tools, power tools and a fucking workbench. I...

    So, Reice Charles Cooke...

If he was guilty of anything then it was him not going down like a sack of spuds. Might have got the free kick then.

The futility of trying to police the world

I have a customer at work who is from Afghanistan. Had a chat with him 3 or 4 weeks ago and I asked about how things were 'at home' as his wife and daughter were out there. I was really shocked with the reply. He basically told me that his town was being policed by one person(a taliban) and...

    So, Reice Charles Cooke...

Are you saying that RCC should have come 8-10 yards out off his line at a 45 degree angle to try and take the ball through 3 or 4 players or are you telling me that it was his fault for getting his shirt/arm pulled at the time of the ball coming in? Brilliant!

    So, Reice Charles Cooke...

RCC is the better keeper. The defenders know what he's doing and have confidence in him. They have no confidence in Burge as he is unpredictable. He'll come for some balls and not for others and when that happens, defenders start to try over compensate. That's when mistakes will happen. I still...

    Blatter & Platini

How can a player of Platini's standing end up like this? Hope they both get to serve some time inside.

    New goalie needed

Spot on. Teams are starting to block up the edge of the 6 yd box to stop him from taking crosses. It should then be up to the defenders to get their head to the ball first. I really do wonder about our fans sometimes. So quick to criticise without looking at what's going on. Concede from a cross...

    tactics wrong

Too often when he's done his bit by holding the ball up nobody has been in support or took the ball on the run off him. That's made him look like he's slowed the game down. If we played to his strength and got people running through to take the ball off him then it would look a lot better.

    Joe Cole

I made a point of watching him today and thought he was very good at keeping the ball. Every time he got the ball two men were on him and I don't think he lost the ball more than once or twice. People in front of him need to make more runs for him to put the ball through or into space. He...

    tactics wrong

Personally, I don't think Armstrong makes nearly enough runs when we are coming forward, especially when teams are trying to put load behind the ball. If he made a few more runs then he a, give us something to pass to and b, open up a bit of space by taking players away. I'd like to see us play...
