Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

Cheltenham want 2m for Eisa so I’d have thought our valuation of McNulty would have been nearer that

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

He’s on what? About 2-3k here, tripling that to 10k isn’t hard in the championship. So not beyond the realms of possibility

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

Behave... we live In a capitalist country! I’m not Tory voter by a long shot but to criticise people for increasing their wage is rediculous. Am I gutted McNulty is going? yes! But like it or not Reading are in a better league than us, and have been established above us for a number of years...

2018-19 Shirt Launch and Evening with Mark Robins - 29th June

Kit looks alright! So has McNultys contract situation been cleared up? Is it one or two years left?

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

Not necessarily - but what it does mean is that the Ricoh is back in play and CCFC become far more attractive for a takeover

Bids for McNulty / McNulty to Reading

He’s out of contract next season so I’d imagine we’d have to either offer him a new deal now or gambling and risk losing him for 0 at the end of next season

I’m going to put it out there... I hope SISU win this one

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

There’s more chance that SISU would have taken that on. It was already argued that the 200 year lease effectively amounts to ownership given the lifetime of the stadium - as per JR1 SISU also made an offer that was worth the same as what wasps offered for the Higgs share. Let’s face it...

You’ve missed the part where the lease reverts back to CCC, they get to sell the lease again... It’s more valuable with no existing contracts or debts

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

Correct. But as I’ve stated if ACL were to go bust. The lease reverts back to the council. The Ricoh then has more value. It would be unencumbered. This is different to the past. As the Wasps QC said “it would be like comparing apples and pears I’ve said it before, it would benefit everyone...

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

No but what I’m saying is.. is once Wasps fuck off, the lease reverts to the council and the club negotiates again with it unencumbered. At least that option remains

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

Look I’m sure we can all agree that the greatest outcome here would be: - wasps lose and go bankrupt - SISU take their money and sell the club - ACL go bust, with the lease returning to the council unencumbered The club can then re-negotiate a new deal and we’re all hunky dory

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

I like how they say the collapse of wasps will affect the wider community.... how does it affect Coventry? Good riddance I’d say

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

Sounds that one of the judges thinks it needs looking at. I for one would like to know why they essentially give the Ricoh away and not got full value.... that’ and watching Wasps collapse. You’ve got a coventry rugby season ticket haven’t you? You can still get your rugby fix

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

I’m in the understanding that the lease reverts back to the council in case ACL goes bust. In that event, wouldn’t the council have made more by allowing that to happen and selling a brand new lease on the unecumbered Ricoh?

So are we all thinking of gearing up for Judicial Review 2? Seems like it needs looking into.

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

At the end of the day, if the council always intended on extending the lease, surely that should have been part of the value when selling ACL. That is where they’d get best value for money for the tax payer? Also the collapse of their client would be greeted with glee on my end...

    Do you sense a change?

Isn’t it the reason 95% of owners are in football club ownership for though

You could go football income and expenditure to CCFC, Rugby in and out to wasps... all others split down the middle
