He looked like he was constantly running through treacle and his miss was appalling. Regardless of whether he's not totally fit, his ratings are fair.

Compared to his recent performances I don't think he was awful. He obviously was far from brilliant but there was at least slight improvement. There's significant work that needs to be done to get to him to the level that's required in the Championship though as he completely lacks discipline...

He definitely does. It's like a magnet for him. It reminds me of that one child at school who is utterly useless at football but regardless will always try and close everyone down. He certainly needs a lot of coaching on how to best utilise space on the pitch.

    Everyone still confident ?

No because given their recent upturn in form, Birmingham are probably going to finish above us this season regardless of their result against Rotherham. Equally, we'll be lucky to come away with a point against Barnsley which drags us back into the thick of it if Rotherham win.

He wasn't bad at all. He desperately needs to be taught to stick to his position though. I noticed on a number of occasions he came flying forward to close down/tackle Rotherham players that were more or less on their half way line. You can't criticise him for a lack of enthusiasm but better...

    Everyone still confident ?

50 points has to be the aim. Although they were appalling last night and quite clearly fatigued, as shown against QPR Rotherham have the ability to snatch wins out the bag. As predicted, it's looking like their fixture backlog is causing them issues, so hopefully that will play to Birmingham's...

Excellent performance from McCallum last night. Much better defensively. I have to say some of the comments in this thread are rather strange though. Despite his performance, it's quite clear he's often struggled this season. An excellent performance against a fatigued and poor Rotherham side...

Peterborough has previously sold Marriott, Gayle and Assombalonga for around that figure - give or take. It's no secret that MacAnthony is an excellent negotiator when selling his players as well and has a knack for securing great deals. In all fairness to Grendel it's not way off the mark at all.

Depends on the context of the deal and how it's broken down. For instance, Jack Marriot was sold for £3m rising to £5m a few years ago. Given that the home market is likely to be even more inflated now it's more difficult for clubs to bring players in from Europe, I'd wager the agreed fee...

    I think that's more than a fair assumption. It's a given.

We aren't better at all as Biamou simply can't play in a two. He lacks the positional awareness and often finds himself being dragged into strange positions which then subsequently isolates his striking partner. However, as other posters have said it'll be interesting how a Godden and Walker...

This is another issue that's regularly apparent. If he wants a way of playing that's absolutely fine. But the insistence on bringing in strikers to play a particular role that negates their core qualities is nothing short of odd and a significant waste of budget.

'Target man' in the mould of Biamou. This is what I couldn't understand about Robins' logic. He seemed hell-bent to converting him into Biamou 2.0 where he could disrupt play, hold the ball up, bring others into attack and essentially do the dirty work when this just wasn't his game at all. It...

He hit the ground running pretty much as soon as he arrived at Bristol. I highly doubt he'd suddenly matured/dramatically improved within the space of a few weeks of leaving the club.

Not really, as the players you've mentioned weren't good enough in relation to our ambitions. JCH quite obviously was but he simply didn't play how Robins wanted him to. Simply saying that player X didn't fit the system so Robins was right to move him on, when he actively sought out said player...

Not really, playing to JCH's strengths simply translates to stop viewing him as a target man and utilise assets for the benefit of the team. It wouldn't really have had much of a baring on how Robins wanted to play. Equally, surely it's about what's best for the team? If a manager fails to...

He wasn't right to just move him on and not at least attempt at playing him to his strengths during his time here. That's nonsensical to call that a correct decision in my view. He shouldn't have brought him in, in the first place if he was just going to try and mould JCH into something he...

He wasn't right at all, the outcome just happened to work out for all parties involved. There's a difference.

The attitude issue is a stigma that stuck with JCH from his youth. It's clear there was always a player in there it just needed the right manager to realise his potential. Personally I don't consider it as a factor behind why he failed to find success at the club. Most managers he's played under...

Hardly jumping on the band wagon, if as you claim, the majority believe Grealish should start. At least try and make your feeble insults make sense.
