The further down the leagues we get, and worse our performances become, the less casual fans we get who turn up to two games a season, shout "get it forward " and think they know everything there is to know about a player after 5 minutes.

RCC - 6 - missed punch and did not attack other crosses, but saved us at the end with the one on one, great reactions and speed of his line. Willis 7 - no idea what that cross field pass was, but solid performance. Ricketts - 6 - struggled a little with Pope, but good commitment towards the end...

Based on tonight's performance, who in our team hasn't been too lightweight?

Reid and Jones need to come on to add some attacking impetus. I'm sure McCann will be a stand out while he's here, but based on the first half, I'd prefer Stevenson. Poor poor half, we truly look clueless. Such a disconnect between midfield/attack. I hope any potential signings aren't here.

A few physical tackles and we look intimidated. No worries though, our main heading outlet is off injured and I'm sure his replacement will be just as good in that role....

I agree. I partly get the impression by bringing K Thomas on TM was attempting to introduce a plan b, using a target man. Granted it's a half way house, as we need a genuine plan b in terms of tactics/formation, but at least TM recognises that. Plus in all fairness, based on yesterday's bench...
