    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

SISU want to recap as much investment as they can in the long term. The quickest (and best) way is through CCFC being successful. So if they did have these profits then they would probably invest in the team, better players increases chances of promotion, promotion means better revenues and the...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

Yes she is... but if you or I had been in her position of influence, would you have allowed the situation to have got to this point if you could have in someway intervened?

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

The community can not use it. That's why. Next you'll be telling me McDonalds is a community asset because it brings footfall to the City Centre

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

That doesn't make it a community asset does it? A community asset is something that the community can use. The people that run ACL have said as much, that the cost of allowing the public to use the stadium makes it uneconomic.

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

That's not what I said at all is it. If their are profits to be made from ACL, SISU would inject them into CCFC.. not a stadium that they would not have owned. Also... the Ricoh is not a community asset.. it does fuck all for the community.

'We'd be better off owning the Ricoh but sisu can't be trusted'?

I don't think there is much evidence that either party can be trusted on their own. So this suggestion is probably the best option. I guess it would only work by SISU buying out ACL and probably shutting it down or encompassing it into their group of companies.

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

If all profit is reinvested into Ricoh complex why would SISU want to buy them? That doesn't seem to add up.

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

Well they kind of did know they would get something, as they purchased half of ACL which we know meant they were entitled to revenues from stadium complex. Don't get me wrong... They deserve their money back to continue their work. But this has gone way past that because of the people...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

They did help the club financially, but knowing full well there would be some return on the investment. They didn't donate the money to CCFC did they? Nobody in ANY party had the desire to a) stop this nonsense occurring in the first place and b) get a deal done. ALL of them were too driven...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

To be honest this emotive bullshit is wearing thin. This woman, just like ACL,CCC and SISU don't give a fuck about CCFC. When push comes to shove they care more about their bottom line than they do about the city, or the football club. I'm bored of everyone pretending they care, and...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

If we work on the basis that the lawyer count was 2:7. ACL had 1 lawyer per £14.5k and SISU 1 per £41.4k. So if we went on the SISU ratio ACL would need 0.7 of a lawyer. If we worked on ACL ratio, SISU would have needed 20 lawyers. Nice bit of Maths to start the day!

    Fisher has spoken

I'm not sure what answer you would expect if that question was asked. Would you prefer 'of course we're gonna sell him.... In fact he's already up on EBay!'

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

I agree - just can't imagine what could have surmounted to 30K. Surely a charity would be a bit more prudent in its outgoings. Equally SISU saying costs of 290K is a fucking joke.

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

The counter claim was a fucking nonsense, but 29K for 'evaluating SISU's offer of £5.5m for our shares' seems a bit ridiculous - you either want to sell or not before you start spending almost 30K on legal fees.

US business man planning to launch bit to bring CCFC back to the ricoh

Agree with that totally... but how exactly do the club do that? Will the council let someone (let alone SISU) buy out ACL/IEC? It's not like they have shares that can be bought.

    possible after JR scenario ?

That has zero relevance to the JR does it?
  17. Ian1779

    possible after JR scenario ?

You may well be right, I just wonder where ACL would find money to the tune of £14m if they had to pay it back.
  18. Ian1779

    possible after JR scenario ?

Better to only talk about the things you know about rather than try and blag the stuff you don't. I don't know what state aid argument is so I won't pretend I do. I'm sure you'd no doubt approve.
  19. Ian1779

    possible after JR scenario ?

Just a different slant, SISU are claiming that the funding provided by the council was 'illegal' in regards to state aid (whatever that means) If they were to win, are they expecting that the Council would be forced to remove said funding? If that was to happen then would the money have to go...

US business man planning to launch bit to bring CCFC back to the ricoh

Keeping our plight is the news is one thing, but self-promoting on the back of it is another. If he's got any sense he will not mention GH and JE anytime soon.
