Match Thread Plymouth Argyle - Coventry City Match Thread - Monday 21st Apr

I think he caught his foot as well as pushed him. If it was our player through on goal and it happened we would all say it was 100% a pen. 😜

You're right they have beaten us once in 2022 you're not right on them walloping us regularly. Why so much doom and gloom. We're in great form and they aren't.

They walloped us once not regularly, Luton haven't beaten us in the league since 2021. Plymouth have beaten us once in our last 9 visits to Home Park. We could have a bad day true enough but we don't have many and definitely not 3 on the bounce.

How do you know? They have a loss making asset and someone offers them a substantial amount of garunteed money for 25 years. They are very good business people so unless they plan on knocking it down and building something else they are quite limited in what they can do with it.

Both the Derby games were freak results and Hull we should of been out of sight. You could make a solid case we should have won all those games but had bad days in from of goal. I am not overly concerned

Exactly this. I know they needed to refurb parts of it but I'd bet they would want to double their money on it. If it's a loss making asset not much point in buying it. Better to get a 25 year lease as long as the terms aren't extortionate.

A lot of those were before new year though. Our form and results have massively improved since then. We have arguably our strongest team fit and playing now which also helps us. We match their desire our quality wins it.

A nervy win as we don't like to make it easy for ourselves which will see us effectively relegate Plymouth due to their abysmal goal difference.

Yes, having been a ref it's normally sandwiched between Fecking Cunit

It must of been for something he said. The ref was walking away until Edwards started talking to him.

I'm not worried about playing 2 of the bottom 3 next. There is a reason they are down there and it's because they been consistently shit all season. If we play anywhere near like we did yesterday it's 6 points. We have been playing very well for months now so will take a complete loss of form...

    Ref again

I thought the Simms one was a foul. He grabbed him round the neck and pulled him down. Ref had a good view of it as well. Haji was being pulled by the defender and you see VAR giving them in the Prem. It always looks soft but a pull is a pull.

I wasn't planning on going to Plymouth due to work but can now go if any spares pop up. I know they are like Wonka Golden tickets.

It won't get over turned as there was contact no matter how slight.

Maybe a fiver to spend by end of April.

    Ref again

In theory yes but as he bottled giving the pen for the foul on him he probably bottles that as well.

    Boro Attendence

Mine will be going spare as I can’t make it.

    Ref again

Haji grabbed the ball as he went down.

We will win the next 2 and relegate Plymouth and Luton. Already confirmed in the playoffs before the Boro game.
