Tis true. The goals have dried up Just 4 scored now in the last 8 games.

Lorentzson made three really good passes inside the Colchester penalty box. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

So where do we now expect us to finish this season?

Yep, spot on. They will be desperately wanting good season ticket sales, but we all know that on the back of this embarrassingly disastrous slump, there is only one way the sales will go. Incredible pressure now on the City to have a flying start next season too. Don't do that and attendances...

    Mowbray needs to go

Yep. So when we were top and top 3 and top 6 and we were saying what a good team we were and how we really fancied our chances of going up, in reality, in our hearts we knew we had a very poor team and that 16th place would be fine? I don't believe we had a brilliant team, but by the same...

When did 4 wins in 22 games become acceptable to people?

I couldn't even bring myself to watch the highlights. :( Didn't follow the games at all. Darkest time of City's history and one I really wish to forget.

Where's there? League 2? Midtable mediocrity?

So where do we now expect us to finish this season?

Some very tough fixtures to come, pax. Anything from the next 4 games would be a bonus.

It simply cannot hurt loan players as much with struggling sides, and those that may well end up relegated especially. For a contracted player they want to play at the highest level and must wonder if their future is secure if they go down. For players like Murphy, they just go back to their...

I like Holloway. Bit of a mixed bag with him though. Some success and some failures.

Yay!! I was so depressed. Now I have found out Ricketts is out of contract, I feel I have won the lottery!!!

    Mowbray needs to go

Not sure. God knows if he is any good or not. You have to dismiss Celtic, because anyone would be expected to have a very good win percentage there. You have to dismiss Bolton because they are a basket case. No idea on him to be honest.

Would love to get Jack Stephens back for another season. I like his calmness and he has good ball retention and he can also play anywhere across the back four.

When did 4 wins in 22 games become acceptable to people?

Very good point. How many times have we tested any keeper lately? Can only think of Alnwick at Peterborough. Most games of late the keeper doesn't even have a save to make.

Tell me why he should keep his job?

If the best manager we have had in a while gives us 11 points clear of 7th to 8 points behind 6th, then that surely just shows us how crap all our managers have been. Doesn't point to anything positive about TM. What are we trying to say about him, that he is just slightly not as bad as the...

    Mowbray cwr

I do love his interviews, but saying the next player who doesn't smash a penalty will be immediately subbed is very childish and rather unprofessional. Maybe the pressure is just getting to him.

Yes agree, but if the opposition know you are going to smash every penalty it allows the keeper to second guess. Most penalty takers vary their style occasionally (changing corners, hitting the ball low or high).

But does Mowbray know our system? I am not convinced. :)

You also have to look at that initial form and accept that Armstrong was a complete unknown to opponents. It took a while teams to learn how to play against him, but they gradually crowded him out and denied him space. Of course he is good enough to still be able to score with regularity, as...

So where do we now expect us to finish this season?

Yep about right. I think we will almost certainly lose the next 4, Gillingham, Wigan, Millwall and Bradford and then will get a win out of Sheff Utd and Oldham and Doncaster. My guess is Sheff Utd. Think we owe them one and will be up for that match.

    Mowbray needs to go

Flatters to deceive unfortunately. He's like a Kinder Surprise. You get one, think it looks great, are all excited about opening it, but when you look inside there's not a lot there.
