EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Fleetwood are the wildcard for me - they’ve been making noise about playing on but they strike me as the most snakey and likely to Judas the 5

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

They’d be right, we’d be mad to vote to continue when we can have the title now. that’s not to say we’d Not be happy to play on. We’re happy to go with whatever the majority says

    Celtic promoted

I get that Dmac is acting totally selfishly but can we not pretend we’d not be the same. If a plan resulted in us cancelling the season and not being promoted none of us would care about Burton. ultimately in football it’s a dog eat dog world. Unfortunately some teams are going to be badly...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Surely this is a non starter. Any team who doesn’t want to play could surely counter sue for incurring further costs

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Sure I read somewhere Bristol want to play out the season so the manager can get used to league one and see more of his players that’s a wabkstain move if I ever saw one. best buckle up - we’re going to have to win the title on the pitch

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Let’s not pretend we’d not be all over a season restarting if we were 8th. It doesn’t matter, id back us to win the league regardless.

After the Elation - The questions

I’d argue that our business model is currently somewhat more sustainable than most championship sides. Our outgoing are going to be dwarfed by most championship sides

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

2bf if Toney does score 20 goals Peterborough financially can turn down offers. In the pre-Covid 19 transfer window it’s feasible that someone like Watford, Burnley would pay 20 mil for a goalscorer. his problem is the courts won’t take into account what if scenarios, and it’s already been said...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

So flipping that, if we’re denied promotion from him - couldn’t we sue for £25 million because Godden would have flourished in the Championship?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Anybody who’s arguing using this is missing the point completely. Theyre not stopping promotion and the idea is to make the numbers back up. the only way Norwich etc could argue this is if they allow more teams into the prem. they’ll have to get the big clubs to agree

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

The only good thing about our downfall was the fact most cov fans could probably do the 92

    Enobkahare Leaves Wolves...

He’s more talented then the above 2. I was long a Shipley detractor but him and Westbrooke do the shit work that bright wouldn’t. They along with Kelly allow O’Hare and the attack to prosper

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I grew up in the 90s. I’d disagree - I enjoyed the late 90s more than I enjoyed playing Stockport, Forest Green and Barnet. I’d much rather watch the likes of Rooney v Liam Kelly. One season in league 2 was awful. Yeah we got promoted and won the play offs. The only games I proper enjoyed were...

    Birmingham don’t want us

It’s the “I’m not bothered about evidence” that got me

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Playing on has to be an option. Ultimately footballers are employees. What’s different to them then any office workers or construction workers? ultimately it’s a cost issue.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

How does the voting go for this, is it majority or 75% and what’s the initial question? For example if 34 of the 47 teams say cancel that’s less than 75% - do we continue playing or what?
