EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Done some calculations, if we have 4 weeks training which is roughly getting the premier league training time, that will bring us to July 6th. I’ve read they want lg1 & 2 done by July 31st, that gives us 25 days to fit 10 league games in with a further 3 if we cock up the league - not happening

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Didn’t think they were group training

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

To be honest I’d be surprised if they weren’t expected in training. If they vote to continue the season then they’d need some sort of pre-season before playing.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

To be fair good luck to them, as long as we go up I’m not bothered how the seasons ended

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

This has been taken off the table. There is a solution, they either play or it’s points per game

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Part of me thinks that the EFL are delaying this as long as possible so it’s not feasible at all to restart. The Pompey CEO has acknowledged that player contracts are going to be an issue

I mean as long as we’re promoted I’m all for it

Same. I’d be basking in it You know we’re about to vote to end the season purely because we’re top of the league... I wouldn’t be upset with a couple of premiership trophies

    RB Coventry

Man City’s owners have regenerated the area created 1000s jobs, and turned their club into one of the biggest clubs in the world. to suggest you wouldn’t want that I would say you have no understanding of what Man City are as a club

If they get us a rental deal Better than 1.2 million we will be in a better position then when they found us

It’s taken 2 homeless trips and relegation to league 2 for them to finally figure out how to run a football club. 2011-2017 has been an absolute shit show of decline. If they get a cheaper rental deal or get a new stadium going they will in actual fact have the club in a better position when...

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

Time will tell. His record doesn’t read well but hopefully he’s learned lessons and some managers just click at certain clubs - look at Eddie Howe. I think the problem most managers get is attitude of players change at higher levels, the bigger the ability the bigger the ego. Man management...

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

IF we’re back at the Ricoh, I think if we can get off to a good start, we’ll have a catalyst for the return of fans. Good start and I think we’ll be averaging around 25k.

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

O’Hare seems likely to try out the free agency - we could sign him. McFadz I reckon has one more season in him. Rose and Hyam are quick enough to cover

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

Left Back - Don’t think Mason will cut it as a championship starter DM - love Kelly but I think he’s a league one player. CM - like to think we’d sign Walsh but doubt Bristol will let him go cheap. We need a replacement to play alongside Allen. O’Hare ST - Godden might be ok, Baka, Biamou...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I’m sure fleetwood said they probably vote to end if there was a play off place.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Not one to Stoke this particular rivalry - but “small time?” considering they’re the ones with the hatred towards us, and they had a 100 page thread about how we were going bust and the shit they gave when getting relegated to league 2?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Don’t forget Rochdale, they want it over. I’d say Bolton and Southend aswell. Why pay 600k when you have to win 7/10 to at least have a chance of staying up
