Match Thread Swindon Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 26th Sep

What a difference supporting a winning team makes when at work. No annoying banter, no embarrassment at your team losing again at the weekend, no need to repeat the same excuses every week. And most importantly even more reason to tell the Wasps fans to sod off. Even if it only lasts a season...

Great result. Three points on Saturday and confidence will be absolutely sky high.

To be fair, Biamou is having a good second half, at least in the air. I don't think he's missed a header. We are looking worrying too in control, just waiting for the sucker punch.

I said it last week and got some stick, but I'm not sure what Biamou offers. I appreciate he's young and raw, so I'm sure he'll come good, but would prefer to see Ponti, at least he's scoring, even if it's a lower level.

They are top of the league and they are nothing special at all. Should give us hope, as when/if it clicks I think we will be. Individually we have better players than most teams. We just need to be a bit more offensive.

I literally say the same thing every week - such a lack of creativity in midfield and movement when attacking. So so frustrating.

What happened to Beavon? It's a shame it wasn't Vincente as I really think having two pacey wingers would make a massive difference in this league.

Bringing a "Man U" fan with me today. I'm hoping for a good game and a 2-1 win.

First away game of the season and I'm looking forward to it. Extra incentive to win today as I work with a few Cambridge fans. I'll go 2-0, Jones and Grimmer.

    Cambridge tickets

Yes no problem. We are arriving into Cambridge at around 12/12:30, but no idea which pub we are heading to yet, so if you PM me your number I'll give you a text when we arrive to coordinate. Face value and a pint sounds great!

Absolutely gutted about Andreu, I definitely think he would have given us that edge this season with his creativity and vision. Re last nights performance, the second half was a complete change from the first, we seemed to up the tempo and tried to play some football. Davies was fantastic at...

Duck has reconfirmed my earlier view re his laziness, but he is powerful and direct when he gets it. Beavon runs around a lot as always and some good touches, but he's never going to win a game. Midfield are non existent in an attacking sense; no creativity at all. Would be good to have a ball...

I like him but Stokes is having a shocker. Not sure why everyone was slating Davies, he looks solid to me.

Are we the home or away team? I'd hate to be in this match playing for us, zero movement and when there is, nobody has the ability or vision to make the pass. Another shocking half of football I'm afraid. One positive - despite there dominance we've looked pretty solid in defence.

Even with all the potential injuries/suspensions the team still looks strong enough to win, which shows the depth of the squad. I doubt other teams in L2 would be in the same place. I'm hoping Ponti gets a run out tonight, but expectations aren't too high. Equally, I don't particularly fancy...
