    Bristol City Match Thread

Time and again I have backed Pressley, but I can't but agree with everything you have said. I like his desire and passion, and wanting to try and change the mentality that has clouded the club for as many years as I remember, but right now he looks completely out of his depth.

Bristol City Away - Big Game?

Good... we don't need that kind of support do we. Seeing as you've pledged not to come to the Area final if we were to get through.. it can go to someone that deserves it... not a WUM with his head buried up Anne Lucas' arse.

    A good week

The perils of SISU? Where we not told at great length that ACL was a sound and viable business, and that SISU's attempts to distress them were futile. So how exactly were they vulnerable to them? They didn't have to sell to anyone according to their argument throughout CCFC's absence 'we don't...

Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

Italia - every time you come out with your contradiction filled diatribe you sound more and more like Fisher.

"The preferred site for the new stadium was revealed..."

No doubt there may have been some abuse... but it would probably happen on any fan forum for any club in the world. As for the 'marketing guys' - typical response really... lets do some research, but not actually get the opinion of anyone that spends time debating/talking about the club at...

Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

Got absolutely nothing to do with the fact they have been groundsharing with football teams which primarily play on Saturdays then?

Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

I imagine it is infinitely easier to do when you own the stadium management company isn't it. As much as you deride the so-called 'SISU fan boys' for their supposed allegiance to the owners over the football team, your fawning over Eastwood and Wasps (which is like a 14 year old girl at a 1D...

    The future

Looking forward then: SISU need to clearly explain their intentions. Are they building a new stadium? Drawings and promises of land deals are not good enough anymore. The fans need something concrete (excuse the pun) The Council need to do everything in their power to support a new build if it...

    Rent or own stadium?

There are far more 'revenue streams' that can be included for FFP purposes than just F&B revenue.

    Wasps: Good For The City?

The fact is that there are very few people that can have an influence on a football team directly with their actions. The fact is that these two, along with SISU, Hoffman, Elliott, McGinnity, Richardson and every other cronie around on their respective watches have failed the club.

    Wasps: Good For The City?

Had they been offered at the same price that Wasps got them for I imagine they would have bought them a long time ago.

    Rent or own stadium?

You would think a modular system refers to stands so they can upgraded/developed if needed. As for space... Plenty of people will take just about any space they can get - depends on price. Can't imagine a plan would not include it, though impossible to tell from the pictures you would say...

    Rent or own stadium?

It would depend on size and how it is pitched. We definitely saw stories about how ACL had made hiring the pitch out of most people's reach financially. Plenty of people make money out of conference space - depends on suitability vs price.

Meet Wasps Tonight And Ask Your Questions

How long will it be until they reveal that the financial backers of Wasps are a little know hedge fund from the Cayman Islands ;) Also - when they do this... how far are they planning on stand back from the fall out?

So who's going to be our new manager then?

If he went I want to see Eric Black. If nothing else I need closure.

    Bigirimana And O'Grady Linked

I think it's more that they show potential. The big clubs harvest them and then they stop making progress. The failing is more on the clubs like Newcastle and Tottenham who seem to do this an awful lot. How many times will these footballers with potential go for the money and their careers end...

    Bigirimana And O'Grady Linked

He hasn't produced much evidence to disprove you currently. I'm still amazed we managed to get £1m for him - SISU played a blinder there. Would he be good now.... not sure - but would he be any worse than Thomas?
