The Golden Share...lets try some clarification of the issues at stake:

No - inextricably linked for the purpose of defining the operation of the many parts of a football club is one thing for the FL to say each company had a hand in the clubs operations and so gets a 10 point deduction and another to suggest an entirely different company, not in debt should...

The Golden Share...lets try some clarification of the issues at stake:

It's a good point chief dave. The problem is SISU I don't think are making empty threats any more regarding another stadium either. They were manoeuvred into this position somewhat by ACL's actions and they have come out fighting. ACL will lose tis battle I fear and if the golden share is hung...

The Golden Share...lets try some clarification of the issues at stake:

I don't see any of that as 'assumptions'. They are the arguments that are weighing the issues at the moment. The problem many have is that they want to continue actually making assumptions and refuse to hear the facts as we know them.

The Golden Share...lets try some clarification of the issues at stake:

The so called 'golden Share' currently sits with the football club. It has not been handed back to the football league or relinquished in any way what so ever. It's not a trophy you hand back. If the FL had it then we would not behaving any doubt or problem would we? They would simply hand it...

Acl response to the Fisher Arena

A lot of this is spin and some is factually incorrect too. Since when did the Higgs charity 'own' half the stadium with the council? No wonder we are in such a pickle.

I agree it can't hurt our cause but it won't make a bit of difference so you are wasting your time. I think it would be more useful for someone like to Trust to hold a meeting and try and get a few experts in to explain the circumstances revolving around our football club at the moment. There...

Deadline for inclusion in L1 for next season

Fixtures can be published with an asterisk next to our name. The FL has a responsibility to ensure who has the golden share and they have known this for some time. So far they have not done so. they are simply not sure is the reason. That's why we may have a court hearing to decide it and that...

    it´s up to us

Outside of Coventry is a different scenario and problematic for SISU for sure but they didn't say that? The quote was 'within Coventry'. Now the Ricoh is not exactly great if you live the other side of the City is it? Can't see a stadium, at least within the boundary of the city being very much...

    it´s up to us

What has affected our gate is the teams performances and that is all. The JPT semi had 30+k so hardly affected? It's all about the results of a football team and the success that brings.

    ACL grow up

broken hearted: When the stadium was planned we had little or no debt. IF SISU or any owner had the stadium then yes absolutely the situation would have been different. Income streams would have made us sustainable. SISU have a price and as I say it's not rocket science to arrive at a figure...

Sorry but I can't stand the incessant sentimental stuff over riding the facts we must learn to deal with.

    No so I'm afraid.

    ACL grow up

ACL should be disbanded. ACL is a company formed by the Council to operate the lease. Why wasn't the lease offered to the football club? A separate company could have been formed like ACL to manage all other operations and sub leases at the Ricoh such as hotels, conference facilities...

    it´s up to us

How can you protest about anything if you don't know 100% of the facts? None of us do I'm afraid. It's a very complicated situation and not at all clear yet. I have to be more realistic too about fans and their support. It runs counter to conventional wisdom to expect fans would simply not...

    A few more questions/thoughts

Very interesting OSB. All of that merely swings the pendulum in favour of SISU. Talk about tying things up in knots. SISU are masters at it. I still can't help thinking that a serious buyer for the club like Haskell and his cohorts should just approach SISU and ask how much to leave? Seems...

Surely the Golden Share is now with the Football League ?

I must assume he means all bids from any party must be concluded by then. That would suggest he will close the bids by that time and it does not mean any bid is accepted. It won't be because he must have the definitive answer about whether or not the golden share is with CCFC Ltd. SISU could bid...

Surely the Golden Share is now with the Football League ?

We keep coming back to the golden share. Lets just keep in mind that which entity legally has a right to say they have it is in dispute. CCFC LTD went into admin but whether that company or the Holdings company have the golden share is the issue. It has been said SISU the ultimate owners...

    Administrators Report

If what you are arguing is the case then why are we discussing it still? Why are SISU still ramping up the rhetoric? They are two companies yes, I accept that but the parent company is one.
