Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

Any agreement with the football league merely concentrates on fulfilment of fixtures and that they will be played at a given stadium for a given period of time. The Ricoh and the rent thereof has no connection with the football league and is a matter between the parties concerned.

For God's sake -- put the supporters first !

I agree with that sentiment Otis but what did Brighton do? The aim is to have a stadium with ownership of some sort that enables the income from all it's activities to help the football club or we are unsustainable. Just agreeing to play at the Ricoh not going to do that. The only way is for...

For God's sake -- put the supporters first !

I think given the time elements regarding fixtures etc there may well be a temporary arrangement for this season with the Ricoh Arena. I would think a bond of some sort with the FL between the two parties would be the way to go while the issues are address behind the scenes. Just guessing mind.

If the potential new owners browsed this forum tonight.....

The world has gone completely mad Grendel....perhaps we should be saying "now for something completely different!" As for Coventry City? Well it was just a flesh wound and although the guard was down to just a head and still defiant reminds me of what's going on and how comical it all is.

If something sounds to good to be true....

Yes the investors appearing from the far east and promising to take us to the promised land, buying the stadium and all the rest of it. Sounds like pie in the sky to me - too good to be true, right? They have not made any kind of formal bid anyway so I heard tonight on cwr? Like I said in the...

Stuart Linnell here, if anyone wants to talk

I was taken aback like many who probably still thought it was a hoax from someone with a lot of brass. Given the opportunity again though I'd like to ask him a few good questions.

So will we know the future of Coventry city on Friday

You have to laugh or you'll cry. :)

Stuart Linnell here, if anyone wants to talk

If it was not Linnell then the imposter may find himself in a bit of bother. Can you not confirm it was the real Linnell who registered Nick?

Fisher Plans To Move Jimmy Hill Statue

Let me remind you that we have had no stadium since leaving Highfield Road so what's wrong with wanting one of our own? The Ricoh is a council owned bowl with no atmosphere and hated according to many on here and we don't own it - its not ours! That's my point, I welcome a chance at having a...

If the FL hand Share to Holdings, I will be writing to the PM demanding an Enquiry!

I agree with the sentiment expressed op but as far as the fit and proper persons test goes we would have no pub licensees and many other areas of industry and services would also be out on their ear if you demanded strictly rules. SISU may have been fairly despicable about some of their handling...

If the FL hand Share to Holdings, I will be writing to the PM demanding an Enquiry!

Op you are making conclusions based on sentiment and a lack of understanding about what is legal. SISU have done nothing illegal whether you like it or not.

Fisher Plans To Move Jimmy Hill Statue

Well if we have a new home that is actually ours then Jimmy Hill will belong there won't he and not at a council owned stadium secured only on a lease?

They think its all over - it is now!

Arrh I see some are beginning to see the light.... Not as straight forward as some on here keep expressing is it? If we had to put a percentage on where the chances of ownership are for next season at the moment then I'd say: SISU 60% Haskell 30% Rest 10%

SISU v Football League - in Court.

Dale I'm a businessman and I see things a little differently perhaps. A stadium built for add on's in capacity has already been configured at MK Dons new stadium. It's been quoted the initial capacity will be 15,000 - around our best home gates at the Ricoh? It would be a full house with...

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

Why would we struggle O ? If SISU set forth their plan it invariably included funding the next couple of years with some screwed up Fair Play rules not applying while at a temporary ground? Enough to outspend most in this tin pot league to make a promotion charge surely? Oh but...

SISU v Football League - in Court.

A little optimistic Quinn but perfectly feasible. The Share may have sat with CCFC Ltd but the FL agreed player registrations and a host of other footballing requirements with Holdings and deducted 10 points on the basis Ltd and |Holdings were one of the same football club? That suggest to me...

Who on here will renew their season ticket if SISU re purchase CCFC Ltd?

So if they are playing at Ansty you won't go? In the interim, if the plan is a real one with inward investment of players and a real chance of promotion while the new stadium is being built then yes I probably would. 300+ thousand people would probably feel the same. So much bravado on here...

Did he say 8 intresting parties?

Stop and pause for a moment. We know two of those, who are the other six? I sound like a gramophone record repeating myself on here but I said before if the Golden Share was with LTD then there will be more people interested and not just uncle Jo and SISU themselves and so it seems...
