    Thoughts on Scunthorpe Game

Mostly agree. We made some chances, but in between those, the football was "boring" I thought. Seemed like a low key display to me. Barton was my mom Clapping Sheff's goal, or the non celebration, whichever it was, seems very odd. I didn't think it was that cold though...

    Thoughts on Scunthorpe Game

Moment that made me smile was in the stands. Guy not far from me is a loud Mr Angry all match, and when someone put a tackle in, the shout came in a full on Mr Angry voice "that tackle was timid"..... "Timid" just didn't seem to fit into a rant somehow... made me and my mates smile anyway...

    Blackpool fans forum

Nor me, most didn't care a jot about other fans or their clubs until WE got into trouble. Now it would seem they've cared all the time....

Most intense period of play in a city match?

Seriously, it was the first 80 minutes against bristol city, to finish 2-2 (and every day leading up to that nerves shredding game.....)

    gmk down again thread again

Thing is though, before all this clever internet stuff, we used to sit in the pub and have arguments (usually just about the team then...) just as heated, and with opposite views being put forward and defended, with all sorts of insults back and forward. Difference was it was a bunch of mates...

What was the WASPS crowd today

The point was about being "accepted" as a Coventry team. I am more worried about CCFC going out of business rather than Blaze or Wasps.

    gmk down again thread again

Didn't you know that was one of the reasons this site picked up posters who moved from GMK? It made for very uncomfortable reading...hence people stopped reading and posting. I'd rather some of the childish arguments on here than go back to those times

    RATINGS v Rochdale ??

Agree with this, and Barton finds a team mate with his passes most of the time. Fleck is a passenger, needs dropping. Willis was reasonably solid, although lost his man on the far post for their 2nd, but his passing is woeful at times.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Thanks fook for that. I didn't think this thread would ever get round to it all being Tim's fault...;)
