    Player ratings v Colchester

I think the love in for Maddison is a bit OTT today. He had a couple of good moments, worked hard, and got in the way of Phillips in the box. Terrific comedy value on that one. I don't buy that he changed the game, we were in charge for most of the match. He he is undoubtedly going to be a...

    Player ratings v Colchester

he miscontrolled two passes in the first half, JOB miscontrolled at least 5, and got cheered off... he put 2 good passes into the box, and regularly looks to pass forward, but watch when he has the ball and see the lack of movement for a pass. That's down to the 2 strikers being poor today...

    Player ratings v Colchester

Weird. My mate and me were noticing first half how few headers he was winning. Watched every challenge after that, and he was still losing more than he won.. Not knocking him as a player, thought he had a decent game, especially as the challenges he lost out on didn't turn into goals against....

Tonight, all my choices changed Single: Ruby Tuesday Album: Trout Mask Replica, Captain Beefheart Concert: Jethro Tull, Wembley. Great concert, great company, and a mate with a pocket full of smokes... ahhhh Most surprising gig: Damien Rice It was unexpectedly (for me) brilliant

It was his younger brother, next in line... Although it used to be fun going up the Hearsall Common fair, when they used to have a boxing ring as part of the entertainment, and the guy you are talking about used to wait until all the hopefuls had been seen out within one round, before stepping...

Not sure you had to be liked brb, just be known by the right people in a non negative way... I was almost on the hit list of one of the bunch of hard-case brothers that used to drink there, but thankfully his elder brother was best mates with my next door neighbour... saved my bacon that did...

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

Now that rings a bell with me too. And didn't the accounts of those seasons not tally with what was said? recall something from OSB58 on it...

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

Thanks for that. be interested to read more. I recall smiles had lots to say about it at the time, but my memory isn't so hot on detail The fact that some posters can't raid the GM archives to prove someone said something 8 years a go is maybe a plus for the demise of GMK ?? ;)

    Election 2015

As always, the problem is what version of events do we believe to make a judgement on? As I said earlier, with most I think, it usually comes down to who you've always voted for, and you'll always believe the articles that support your view. To be honest, with the state the Country was in...

    Election 2015

I don't tend to have many political discussions these days, but in the past, it did seem like people had their colours well and truly nailed to the mast, and whatever their respective favoured party did, would not stop them voting for them. I have friends who would still vote labour even if...

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

Only just read this thread today, but thinking about it, this must surely rank as the most singular event that has caused our downfall. Richardson's folly..

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

If I issue a winding up order against a company that owes me money, and the Telegraph reports on it in the same way, and then the Company subsequently pays up... was the report BS, or a factual representation of what could happen? Of course it was never going to result in being wound up, but...

    That's Mowbray Off, Then..

In my early days at the Jaguar, we had a book in the office to minute anything stupid said by colleagues. It was all in good fun, although some always tried to come up with a "good reason" for stating something ridiculous, which made it even funnier, as the "good reasons" were then minuted too...

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

Jack, the meeting with RBC must have taken place between 2nd & 5th March, as TF clearly stated in his meeting with the SCG.. of course, he had to squeeze in the meeting with SAG too during those few days. He had a busy week by the look of it
