This will negate the 'child born out of wedlock' slur forever won't it? Age of consent is 16 so if a girl legally has sex, aged 16/17, and conceives, she cannot marry until 18. Thus rendering the child 'illegitimate'. Have they thought this through or does none of it matter any more?

    New supporters club near town?

Age related voting in action. Club's finest years (with teams which rarely feared relegation) were 60s and 70s but most fans think it was 80s and 90s. Although our 87 cup win was the greatest attainment it was an aberration, after 3 close escapes from relegation, in a period of slow but...

It's the same with 'skyrocketed'. Didn't 'rocketed' suffice? How does adding Sky improve the meaning? Another stupid Americanism, no doubt. Don't get me started on normalcy creeping in instead of normality and schedule being pronounced the American 'skedule' instead of British 'shedule'

I'm feeling giddy on this just levelled playing field, dazzled by the aura of the recently extinguished light at the end of the tunnel, teetering on the end of this bridge.

    City 4 Everton 1

I was at this match too. I was a newlywed as I'd been married at Easter. A great day and never in doubt. I remember trying to get news of that away game at Stoke too. Not easy in those days living in Brum. Had to rely on Radio 2 updates as 5live didnt exist.

Tbf I wouldn't want a drink with either but if I had to choose it would be Starmer as his dad was a toolmaker and so was mine. What the hell would I talk about with Johnson? Born in New York, brought up first in Brussells then Eton. Nothing in common at all.

Unfortunately (or not) only about 6 million of UK workers are members of unions so I dont really think they can honestly say they speak for "working people" any more. KS should call his bluff. Who else would Unite fund? A breakaway party? Let it roll.

That's not even remotely true. He remains a dangerous man who, as he admits himself, should have been nowhere near power. He is the architect of Brexit so if you trash him you are admitting Brexit was built by a maverick. It all demonstrates what we've known all along that we are led by donkeys...

Next seasons shirt - Embroidered crest?

Exactly. I think the club have missed a trick by not revealing the members shirt about a month ago. As it stands they'll be revealing new home and away kits at a time when many are awaiting their members shirts. Why buy any more shirts when you're receiving your free one?

I was at that match and have already put them straight in a WM club in the North East whilst watching Sunderland lose a play off final on the big screen back in the 90s/00s. 1998 I think. Happy days. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::cool::cool: PUSB
