Transfer Rumour Incoming - Callum O'Hare - Season Loan

This game was a nightmare, after the sending off that never was, we scored, ball well over the line, but the linesman missed it, we’d have been 1 up. We outplayed them for most of the match, their winner came from a corner, when the ball ricocheted onto Billy Sharpe’s back and into the net. One...

Transfer Rumour Incoming - Callum O'Hare - Season Loan

You obviously know him, but Presley spoke very highly of him at Carlisle last season. A really hard worker, great around the training ground, no ‘big time’ about him. He looks just what we need, a player who can run directly from midfield, drawing the opposition players and creating...

Yeh, I wondered if this would happen, almost by default.

    Tyler Walker deal done???

I’m thinking it’s a hell of a lot stronger, a gulf. Leeds United, Derby County, didn’t Huddersfield beat us 4-1? I know McNulty didn’t get much of a chance at Reading, but they obviously decided he wasn’t up to it. I think we would need major strengthening to survive in that league.

    Bolton tickets

A bit harsh? I agree, the club aren’t going to refund flights/hotels etc, but this guys a good enough supporter to travel by plane to watch his team, book a hotel, and whatever other costs he’ll incur. Also, you would book some of these things in advance. So rather than call him a moron, perhaps...

    Yeh, I see, wasn’t necessary.

Yes I know, fine. I’m referring to some other posts where we look like we’re disagreeing over nothing, really.

    Poll:Attendance

As far as I can see there has been hardly any animosity on this forum over who’s going and who isn’t. Maybe time to let this go, OSB, it’s a non issue on this forum unless we chose to make it one.

    Poll:Attendance

Membership became available last week, got mine. It gives you an advantage (and a nice card to proudly flash) but there are still times (think Lincoln, Forest Green) when all tickets are taken by season ticket holders. Ces’t la vie, I’m getting used to sitting in the home end (on my hands!)

    Poll:Attendance

Welcome back - personally I feel that this is the time to step up, I live near Newcastle and attend more away games than home, but I will attend more home games this year.

    He Feels Guilty

The only thing I don’t understand is why your friends should be shocked? You’re a long standing City fan so what’s shocking? My friends would be surprised if I didn’t go.

Teams won't look forward to playing Coventry next season

Blimey! I hope I’m just being a miserable sod, and don’t know what I’m talking about, but aren’t we getting just a bit ahead of ourselves?

Remembering 1st game of the season

Yeh, that Chelsea game, I think they had a new defensive pairing of Desaille and Leboeuf, and Dublin and Huckerby terrorised them all afternoon. I met my Chelsea supporting brother (I know!!) afterwards, magic!

Apology is his, and is, I think, fulsome and sincere. Time to give him a chance, and let’s see what he does with it.

    Season Tickets

It’s great to see how many people on this forum are buying season tickets to support MR and the team, or are stating their intention to attend as many home games as possible. I wish this was replicated across all social media, but this doesn’t seem to be the case, unfortunately. I live near...

    Six fields v St Andrews.

I live near Newcastle, and mostly attend away games, with the occasional home game. I will definately attend more home games this season, in solidarity with the team, and the supporters that continue to support our team.

I do feel the same way - still in denial about Highfield Road! I would like to start over again, but it may be that playing at the Ricoh is the only viable long term solution.

    Some Boddy Is Furious

The Times quote is ‘Coventry will have to lodge a £1 million bond with the EFL as a guarantee that they will return to the Coventry area the season after next’. Of course, the Times could be wrong... If that is, however, the guarantee, then it’s very interesting.
