That’s interesting info Steve, thank you. Says an automatic one match ban.

Tell you what though, I like the lack of rampant bias in Clive and Oggy’s commentary. They are both prepared to be even handed, criticise City, praise the opposition. They’re ok. Listening to the Norwich commentary a couple of weeks ago - it was horrendously biased.

To be fair to Wycombe, lowest budget in the league, a very small club playing in a tough league, don’t think you can blame them for playing to their strengths.

Is anyone else feeling the pressure?

Of watching City twice a week on the TV/ iPad etc? Living near Newcastle in the North East, I would usually get to ten to a dozen games a season, and maybe see a couple on the box. I know I must be a snowflake, but now twice a week, I go through a couple of hours of white knuckled ride, waiting...

Didn’t think the ref was that bad, bit fussy, but didn’t think he was overly against us. Agreed with the poster who felt Sheaf should have started, with O’Hare coming on as impact sub. Also, we miss Giles’s pace. It was a very, very poor game, and I was pleased the final whistle went, as I...

Interesting Derby result today. Lots of posters disappointed with our draw at Derby, but they didn’t look a bad team to me, and I expect to see them move on upwards. Our point begins to look like a decent result.

Exactly - bring O’Hare on as an impact sub, if we need to.

Just had a strange phone call

The only area we really struggled against Derby was down their right , our left. I think Sam is struggling for form, and also appears to be picking up little knocks during games. They looked dangerous down the right wing all night. I would rest Sam and put Giles in there for a few games, whether...

    Match Thread Derby Match Thread

To be fair, I thought Derby played quite well, with confidence, and I can see them moving up the league. I thought we were off the pace tonight, sloppy, and with a number of players underperforming. Shipley was disappointing, as was McCallum. Sam’s form is concerning, he offers little going...

Probably felt like a win after the late equaliser, particularly after the injustice of the ‘penalty’. I take your point though.

Where did you read that? I was looking at their forum yesterday and they just seemed to be bemoaning their luck with injuries, wailing about Aarons, but not recognizing that he brought it on himself with a horrendous challenge. I also read their pink ‘un and Evening News, which was similar, and...

2020s remaining fixtures for us and our rivals

Was anything worse than Blackpool away, night match, league cup, no cover, hammered down with rain the whole match, and we lost to a lower league side - again, 1-0, 1997. Purgatory.

    Match Thread Birmingham City

Ok, it was poor, but I don’t think the tactic was bad. We know we are conceding too many goals, so to try to keep it tight for 70 mins and then change up to try and win it was right. I think we should have taken Dabo off earlier and brought Giles on, which would have improved our attacking...
