Grendel is spot on, O’Hare is just integral to the way we play, we’d be half the team without him. Yes, he should have scored, but the way he made the chance for himself was exceptional.

You may well be right, will we, under present circumstances, be able to compete with the teams at the top end of the Championship, who have greater resources, and stronger squads? But we’ve had an excellent few seasons, and have played some really good football in the first half of the season...

I think there’s something in Paxman’s comments about low shots. There’s been a few goals where I’ve wondered whether he could have done better. Maybe the COVID thing has affected him.

We play a really quick passing game, and press high up. O’Hare is critical for us in that style of play, and despite his lack of composure in front of goal (which he can improve), we wouldn’t be the same (good) team without him.

Spot on, we weren’t competitive last season in games against the better teams, this season we have/should have beaten most of them. We are a much better team, and I just don’t get this ‘shit division’ stuff. It’s a highly competitive league.

I would agree, Shipley was very quiet, surely Allen would have given much needed drive and energy? Can’t think why he wasn’t brought on at half time, might have given us a better foothold in the game at the start of the half.
