It may have been the thing to do in the short term. Not sure that a comparison is of much value, as for most the key issue was playing back in Cov where we belong. I for one am pleased to be back to the good old days, with th 70 mile round trip from Northampton to home games (that is when I can...

I just think that people need to get outside their little bubble a bit more - when my circumstances change, I shall have a season ticket again and the cost (within reason) is unlikely to trouble me too much. And when this happens, I certainly won't be have llittle digs in the ribs of fellow Cov...

Think the same re Nouble. Took the goal well, and could work out well for us as he looked a team player (if that makes sense).

I don't blame ticket prices. I blame successive owners of our club not giving two shits about the fans (call it modern football if you like), with Sisu being the worst of the lot. My comments on another thread about marketing the club in the community to bring people back on board (build...

I haven't walked away - just can't go on Saturday. Edit: You aren't going on Saturday either Nick - why did you "like" this post?

    ticket prices

This is all incredbly dull. It doesn't take a genius to work out that if tickets were cheaper, then more would go. If there was (and hopefully will be) some success on the pitch, then more will go, and even more if the prices remain competitive. Many fans, including me (if I am still classed as...

I sit corrected - used to be the case when booking. £18 should put a few more on the gate now!

There lies the principle - one extra game that I/we can attend if time allows. The away game point is also entirely valid - I attended 5 away games last season based primarliy on timing and location. THe ticket price was largely less relevant. Home games are different, and this season, I now...

    Yeovil Attendance

Good for you - wish I could commit to more games. Not everyone's circumstances are the same though re money and time.

    Yeovil Attendance

Agree with Duffer on this. Demonstrate an obvious commitment to the fans/local community in the immediate term with low prices. Get bums on seats. I for one would be able to plan in a few more games I suspect, and encourage more friends and family to come along too.

    New contract for SP

Makes sense to me - I think his stock has risen quite quickly, so why not tie him down longer term and offer him a more competitive wage. I am more than happy with his commitment, style of play (and how this is evolving with losing the goals out of the team), and his honesty, which is a big...

    Yeovil Attendance

They could have made it £2 this week and I still wouldn't be able to go. Not everyone is able to commit to every home game, or even say every other game, as personal circumstances dictate. What I am doing now is planning in games up until the New Year, and how to attend in the most cost...

Has a very picturesque railway station if I recall correctly

It is possible to sit eslewhere in the North Stand I believe.

I think it was Ranson who brought in the £2 more on the day for walk ups. Should scrap that immediately in my view - there can't be any net benefit to the club with this strategy.

    Yeovil Attendance

Incidenatally, I shall attend when I can (with the two kids), as and when time and money allows. Will keep an eye out for any "discount" games though (FA Cup, maybe Fleetwood on 20th Dec - hint hint).

    Yeovil Attendance

It would certainly appear so, yes. You may jest about the 21 yo, but may mates step lad used to get away with as he is small and looks very young for his age.

    Yeovil Attendance

This may seem obvious, but you do need to have an U16 with you

    Yeovil Attendance

Its fine - lot of kids in there though  Seriously - its is ok. Obviously a few kids get distracted, but it's ok for piss head and bad language avoidance (generally)

    Are you going vs Yeovil

I thought that was illegal! (soz)
