    Your Pre Match routines...

Not sure who would fall in first, intentionally or otherwise!

    Your Pre Match routines...

I would very much enjoy a curry, but it’s her least favourite cuisine (I did say she was fussy!). Dhillons is an option but depends how rowdy etc it might be pre game? Not been pre game since we’ve been back in Cov. Anecdote might well be on the cards though!

    Oh Captain My Captain

A lot more cultured than previously given credit for. His ability on the ball, often under pressure or at the very least as last man, is really impressive. And on top of that he does the old school defender stuff really well too. Shame we won’t get longer out of him, especially as he’s one of...

    Your Pre Match routines...

That’s my usual routine - from the Greyhound pub to the ground. It’s a nice walk, but she doesn’t fancy it!

    Your Pre Match routines...

Dug this thread out as I am looking for inspiration for tomorrow. My usual routine of Greyhound - Ale - walk down the canal is off as those I usually go with can’t attend tomorrow. So I’ve somehow persuaded my partner to take the spare ST, and wanted to do something a bit different and make a...

Match Thread Peterborough (H) Fri 24th Sept 7.45 ko

Expecting a win and as much as I rate Sheaf I’d like to see Allen back in for his energy, box to box game and attacking intent. I was intrigued to see Gyokeres and Godden up front, but I’d bring Waghorn back. High press and on the front foot against an average team and it’ll be comfortable...

    Phoenix Rising

The relegation season was absolutely tragic in every sense. The obvious exception and highlight being the Wembley trip and victory. One of those starting lines up from earlier in the thread featured Wright and Agyei as two of our three strikers. They were two of the worst footballers I’ve ever...

    Anti-SISU

He’s still here, and progressing the team. His stock is high and he’s in a strong bargaining position, so it’s not a leap to assume he’s received some assurances. Plus, we know at least one club were interested and he was offered an improved contract almost immediately.

    Loan Watch

I love reading this thread -it’s a reminder of our progress. It’s great to see we’re now the club loaning our “hot prospects” to lower league teams. Even better when they do well and it’s exciting to think we have real talent in the ranks.

    Anti-SISU

I’m sure there are a handful who would be NOPM/Anti SISU until they go, but on the whole the Anti SISU/NOPM stuff was hot air and a reason people could justify not going to support the team. Ideal world we’d probably all like them gone, but they’ve ensured we’ve retained our most successful...

    Bright and Robins

Wow - this thread really does have it all. Ironically, I’m sure Bright would love it and all the emotive reactions his activity generates.

    Running

Away this weekend on the Yorkshire coast and fancied a few morning coastal runs, however it all went wrong! Realised I’d forgotten my shorts, so I had to run in my flamingo patterned swimming trunks, carrying my phone as I’d also forgotten my flip belt. Got lost along the bridal paths in the...

    Running

Apologies - kept meaning to check in! I felt fairly rough Sunday morning and had an early start with the kids, but got round in 41. The ending fooled me - I thought I’d go for a quicker finished around the track, not realising it was two laps!!

Match Thread Millwall (A) Match Thread

There is definitely something in this. I know it’ll be the whole “super fan” argument against it, but if you were there at the worst of times you should absolutely enjoy the best.

Match Thread Millwall (A) Match Thread

Away for the weekend on a family thing, zero chance of watching it and I’ll struggle to even follow on here. Disappointing for Allen and Waghorn, but assuming it’s a fitness thing and the replacements are more than good enough, if not different style of players. Not writing him off, as he’ll...

    The pitch.

I thought the pitch looked bobbly in places on Tuesday, and thats after only one Rugby game. I am sure MR would have been pretty insistent on the pitch situation, albeit how much that factored into the negotiations who knows. Let’s be positive and assume the right measures are in place, maybe...

Match Thread Cardiff - Home - wednesday the 15th

Best game I’ve seen JCS have for us, he was defensively sound, strong in all his battles and really confident on the ball, even bringing it out of defence which always causes issues for the opposition. Hyam was great too, his anticipation, positioning and strength were especially stand out...

Match Thread Cardiff - Home - wednesday the 15th

Dabo will be a real loss, his energy and attacking impetus are key, and he’s improved defensively. It’s obviously early days, so he’ll improve as he settles, gets fit, plays etc, but Kane has looked poor in his cameos. Which compounds the loss of Dabo even more.

Atmosphere ridiculous again. Definitely a proper 12th man today.

Agreed. That’s why he’s even more surprising he’s poor. It’s early days though and he’ll settle I’m sure.
