    Tonights game

They love him, just look at the goal celebrations for the 2nd v Derby. Christ, we've just won 3-0 away to a team who were unbeaten in 6 at home (4 wins) and were in the Prem last season!! You can't really do much more than Thorn has so far. After the PNE game we could have got sucked downwards...

    Alan Shearer doing interviews!

He's loaded and doesn't need the money, but he does have a point to prove. My general reaction to Shearer at The Ricoh would be somewhat akin to Edward Woodwards on seeing The Wicker Man for the first time; "Oh God!! Oh, Jesus Christ!!!! No!!"

    Westwood

Ha ha, not being able to pay players over the summer is what loses semi-pro clubs players! Are we really that pathetic? Oh yeah, I forgot, to SISU eyes it's smart business sense! Just shows how utterly clueless they are when it comes to football.

Poll: Should Andy Thorn be appointed as the next Coventry manager?

100% agree. What more do you need to know other than what he has already proven? We need to build for next season NOW. Assuming there is such a concept at board level, which I massively doubt.

    Andy Thorn is Adaptable!

I thought it was a bucket-and it was "number 1" not "number 2's" he did into it :o Yeah, give Harrison credit-I was thinking George & John a while back! Remember the Leicester comeback last season? Harrison prettty much just waded in and took over from a cluless CC at h/t. He has passion...

    Andy Thorn's Sky Blue Army

I reckon it will be Baker in the hole Saturday, but Sheff has been our star man since Thorn took over. But Millwall will miss Morrison just as much. I also think I was the 1st to make the Black comparison (gold purse out of a sows ear was the overwhelming feeling I got from the Burnley...

Terry Gibson thinks Andy Thorn should have the city job!

He'd have been with him at Wimbledon along with Gouldy, I'd assume? Good to add another consenting Sky Blue hero! He was the only thing that kept me coming back for me as a kid-what a poacher. How is Gibbo's health? Can we get him on the coaching staff too?!

Club shop window will come alive!

Yep, that's exactly what I think. Perhaps the promotion season kit. A fitting outfit for our exciting 100+ goal promotion season that Thorn has in mind for us. :D I really like the Southampton "sash" kit, bit of a River Plate look, but I think that shade of sky blue with white is just too...

    Well after tonights win

Gonna be a big crowd on Saturday, what with the cheap tickets. Wouldn't it be amazing to reward the lads by packing The Ricoh out with 25,000 plus and roaring them to victory against The Lions? Wouldn't THAT send a message to SISU, and echo Thorns words about our potential?

Will Thorn be the next Eric Black?

Next Eric Black as in replaced by a has-been "name" despite saving a sinking ship and producing the most exciting City football in years? Only time will tell. I think the guys a genius.

    Thanks, City!

Well, you were right about the board! They aint getting any credit for this in my eyes. Not until they realise what a good thing we're on to and invest in wages for King, Westwood and Arons contracts. And that aint gonna happen!

    Tonights game

Yes, there are rules against it. They'd simply carry it over to next season. Thorn is superb. I said after the Burnley game that he was the new Eric Black. He'd get us top half even without King and Westwood-the players are playing to their potential now. Thoen commands tremendous respect...

    Who could replace Westwood?

Not that keen on Murphy-I think he looks good 'cos he has so much to do at Scunny-and they do concede loads. Lewis has made some shocking errors in the last few weeks! I'd rather go with Ireland and Quirke. Smithies is decent, but again has made some howlers this season and would cost loads...

Possible teams tonight. ( According to the the Telegraph )

Nah, not with Hussey in the team! He's like a young Robert Jarni :D

    Not coming home...

Sub v CPal, he started v Birmingham and looked good. But not ready for the 1st team. There is an argument that Turner became the player he is because he was persevered with, even when struggling. He got experience and learnt one heck of a lot (not from "De Zeeeeeuuuuuw, he's behind you!"...

Possible teams tonight. ( According to the the Telegraph )

Ah, Leon "50p piece head" Barnett. Reckon he'd be about 6th choice CB if we had him now. So we have progressed a bit! How the hell are Norwich doing so well?! They should be where we are with their squad.

    Injury update. 12/04/2011

Agreed Rob, that's Baker's best position and we only now play the formation that suits him. But he was good at Burnley in the central role, so good competition for places all of a sudden. I really want Roy to at least get a run at tired legs with his pace as a late sub. Platt may surprise-a...

Andy Thorn should be next Coventry City manager, says Marlon King

And it's worth saying Thorn only had King for 2 of his matches, and I reckon we'd have done Watford without him. In general-it's the hope that kills yer! I genuinely believe that this group of players under this manager playing this style of football (with injured players to return like...

Club shop window will come alive!

I'm a sucker, it's got me well excited. All-Sky Blue '68ish style, please!!! Thinking of getting "Hussey" on the back of mine, but that's not a good thing to have on your back as a bloke, really..

    Thorn's chance stake a claim?

I'd give him the job for sure. He's been a breath of fresh air, and speaks more sense than any manager since Snoz-or at least Eric Black. But the uncertainty over the clubs future is massive. Will SISU still be here? Will the club? Will they want to bring someone else in? Who knows, but I do...
