    Midlands Today

Where are the City goals?!? It's bad enough that they edit our highlights anyway so that you only see the final pass (if you're lucky) and the finish. Now they've decided not to bother showing us at all!!! There was a plug for late Kick Off (11:15! I don't want to wait another 5 hours!), as...

    Keogh on Andy Thorn

Bang on, smileycov. Cracking game Saturday and we deserved the points. I think I saw us win when deserving to ONCE under Aidy! The rest (eg Doncaster) were games where we were massively outplayed but got lucky through being more direct than the opposition.

    Hoffman bid rumours

This is what has confused me throughout. You'd think in their situation they'd be happy to get ANY cash back-and jump at every chance to publicise our availability! Dulieu said they'd convinced SISU to "give them a shot at getting some of their investment back" (rather than liquidate us...

    Andy Marshall

Any of those may do a job, but are probably out of our reach. Makalambay would be fun, but Alnwick would probably be the best. Plenty of unfulfilled potential & desire to play & prove a point after rotting in the reserves. Mannone will probably stay at Arse, the rate they get 'keepers injured...

    Andy Marshall

Yep, I think that's my view. He did look like he was finished in his last season here. Made a few bad mistakes and just looked too slow. Keepers need reflexes, and I fear his are gone. 2 years in the stiffs at Villa won't exactly have aided that. Still, we'll probably get Bell from Scotland...

    Female Lineswoman

My mate insists the lineswoman had a haircut at h/t! Reckons she had a ponytail in the 1st half, but in the 2nd it was gone. He is going a bit dotty in his age, mind... I'd tolerate Keys being involved, he was harshly done by imo. SKY are utter...well, I can't put that word! Keys interviews...

    Marlon King

Nick, you're not wrong! It was well chavvy today! My fave bit was a couple of guys trying to push in whilst queing for food at h/t. The bloke next to me challenged them, and one said: "Yeah, but it's allright, innit? Cos we're all Cov, yerknowworimean? It doesn't matter! You're Cov, I'm...

    Clarke. again!

Still don't think he was awful, even then-2 bad touches. King managed twice as many and I don't see anyone jumping on him. RE:Wood. I think we're twice as good at the back without him! He came on and looked the weak link, as he has all season. We've started calling him "Anywhere", because...

    Trouble in the Car Park?

That's just what I was thinking..

    City doing that winning-thingy again!

He looks like he's loving it. With what he's said in interviews as well, I really do think he wants to stay, and I believe he does really want to repay us. SISU may however have other ideas, sadly. Brilliant stuff all-round today from the lads. MOM is a tough call. I thought Bell was ace...

    Clarke. again!

KUTGW Nick! I turned to my mate at the end and said "Clarke was MOM-yet I bet there are still people slagging him off online tonight"! I genuinely assumed your OP was sarcastic until I read on... Tbf, he gave the ball away twice, in the first few minutes. He didn't put another foot wrong all...

    Mark Robins

Nah, Brody wouldn't say something like bollocks. Even on twatter. He may say "The Mirror are throwing high heat, but I'll step up to the plate and hit that one out of the ballpark straight away. This soccer franchise is not for sale."

    Richard Shaw

Yeah, legend. In the modern era there are very few players who stay at a club so long, as he did with both us an Palace. Played in several positions without moaning, model pro, quality bloke. But I wouldn't want him as manager, and certainly not ahead of Thorn. I admire him for wanting it, though.

    Poll: Player of the year

Me too! Based on potential shown. Keogh the other contendor for his effort and consistency. Turner would have won it by a mile if he hadn't got his injuries.

    Coventry vs Portsmouth - Highlights

I reckon that cross from Keogh was the best we've had all season! Brilliant hold up play by Lukas, and his barnstorming run and blast was great-superb save by Ashdown to pluck it out of the top corner. The may have been a shout for a pen after Aron hit the bar..but any way you look at it...

    McSheffrey to miss Milwall game

Don't agree at all with this. He had a run from the wing earlier where he scored 4 in 4, mostly cracking goals, then he fell out with Aidy. He was still the guy who got me out of my seat, for pretty much every game he's played. He's being played in his natural position now, that's why he's been...

    Alan Shearer doing interviews!

I'd take The Wicker Man remake, for as terrible as it is, it's bloody hilarious! Shearer was only funny when inserting song lyrics into his interviews. As our manager, we wouldn't be laughing! He had plenty of time and good players at Newcastle to keep them up, but they got much worse when he...

Poll: Should Andy Thorn be appointed as the next Coventry manager?

Unless each and every player is going, we can, to some extent. Cranie has already spoken about wanting to play at CB with Turner, and Thorn spoke about "building something" on Tuesday. Anyone else coming in would take ages to get to know the players, wheras at least having the same guy in...

    Brighton promoted.

They said on The Football League Show this week that Brighton have already sold 16,000 season tickets for next season! That's pretty scary..I guess that makes them a much bigger club than us now.

    Cotterill slam's ref

I've seen the incidents on telly twice now. Both were blatant pens and when you intentionaly handball like that on the line, you have to go. Blimey, what an idiot he is! Just making excuses. To his credit, Aidy was much more dignified when he had much, much greater cause for complaint.
