The alleged rumour at the time was that GR paid for Keane, and when he was sold, he received the proceeds....ok ccfc had the use of the player, but Keane's subsequent transfer was driven by his desire to make a profit, not what was good for ccfc. Not sure if that was true.

The council have a sale veto on the 50% that the Higgs charity own (and vice -versa iirc), even if Higgs charity agreed to sell their stake to SISU (very unlikely). Seeing as how SISU has been trying to screw both of them, i really cant see it happening.

Instead of owing money to Yorkshire Bank, basically CovCityCouncil (Cov CC) have paid off this mortgage Now, ACL now owe money to Cov CC...in essence Cov CC are the new 'bank' .

I happen to know this bloke, not massively well, but well enough to know he's a nice chap, good dad and a passionate cov fan...certainly no troublemaker. The pc was pissed off because he'd f**ked up (no id) and it had been noticed by an observant supporter, so he used the power at his disposal...
