Yep - absolutely this. Eccles or Kelly alongside Hamer, Sheaf or a player who has the insight to play forward and create and it’s absolutely fine. Them together, with an anonymous 10 and an off form strike force is a disaster, but not of their own making.

This place is going to be horrendous tonight, and for the first time in a long long time there’s some substance to it. We look absolutely bang average at best. Another game with very few positives. And the one positive we had was taken off.

I know we’re offering sod all excitement but the atmosphere is pretty poor as well. It’s all a bit different to last year hey.

I don’t want to be one of those people, but that midfield is very L1. By no means saying they can’t do a job, but the teams creatively level has gone from about 4/10 to 2/10.

Please don’t take off Simms, he’s playing well and it’ll hit his confidence too.
