    Nowhere near good enough

Lack of game plan is worrying. Lack of adaptability is an unfortunate trait MR can’t seem to shake - and it’s needed this season more than before without Gyokeres/Hamer to pull a rabbit out. Signing of Kitching is bizarre. Wright looks absolutely miles off, and both him and Simms devoid of all...

Woeful performance aside. Biggest concern here is the seemingly massive lack of team spirit, drive or passion. Appreciate it’s a lot of new players but by now a sense of camaraderie should exist, but there seems little of that and heads are dropping so quickly when things aren’t working. Needs...

We were absolutely shite overall. Little to be positive about, but regardless reaction on here will be OTT and full of people weirdly enjoying it.

Think what you want of Wright but that should have been a strong penalty shout.

Reckon we’re going to score here. We have our most offensive players on the pitch and Saka and COH look lively.

Yea have to say we now officially look hopeless. Slow, slow football with zero attacking edge and no game changers in that team. We look absolutely fucking lost defensively too. I don’t understand, we’re not even pushing on that much or with urgency yet we’re being more exposed defensively...

For all his greatness, Robins has never shaken his one massive flaw; substitutions. Honestly, how can he not see we need changes here - and offensive ones please.

Would be good to see Sakamoto on at 10 and Wright for Godden. Then COH around 75 and Sakamoto moved to LWB. Not an ideal process but it gets an immediate change in Sakamoto on, gives Wright a chance and we get to see COH back.

No it’s not. We’ve had a bang average start to the season, but we’re 13 games in and have our better players coming back, with a big improvement coming in Jan. Christ, we’re not even losing and we still have 45 mins to play.

Dear oh dear that touch was horrendous. Great ball from the “useless” Eccles too.

Think I’m watching a different game. We haven’t been that bad, and at times we’ve actually moved the ball around well. We’ve got into their box a few times and forced a save or two. Equally we have to step up as we have more to offer and we’ve not tested their make shift defence. Few too many...

Disappointed Sakamoto has been dropped, but him and COH on against tiring legs at LWB and CAM is the only possible silver lining.

There’s nothing wrong with the formation, it’s served us well and we’ve made it work with players less adept, and less talented, than the current squad. The issue (in my view) is the tactics around it, especially with the WB’s. We arguably have our first choice WB’s available now, both of whom...

    Rugby World Cup 2023

That second game was unreal, such an amazing pace to it. And yes I agree based on that we get beaten next round. However, despite a lapse in the second half, we stepped it up today so we may well find another gear (or two/three) next round.

    Rugby World Cup 2023

I can echo some of the stories and points made above; football was (and always will be) my number one sport, but my school was rugby or nothing so I was forced to play it. Fortunately I was decent enough to always be in the Firsts and got to represent city and county, but the best bit was...

    Family Zone behaviour

Bit late to the party but this is genuinely absolutely horrendous. Honestly hopes he’s identified and never allowed back to a Cov game again. And worse if completely honest. Genuinely absolutely hate stuff like this.

    SHOOT

I’ll get it back on track…. ‘Get it Forward’ or variations of are by far the worst. It’s an absolutely cave man shout. As are the sighs when the team decide to play a simple ball and retain possession rather than attempting a hollywood pass not in said players skill set which is guaranteed to...

Was more comfortable with the Lati/Sakamoto pairing than Thomas/Sakamoto. We know Sakamoto isn’t really a WB - not defensively at least - so to pair him with the CB who has looked a little suspect recently is interesting. Equally, being positive, Thomas’ ability on the ball may help feed...

That team looks decent to me; Thomas dropped and Sakamoto in is positive, as is giving Wright and Simms a go up front together (although I’m very surprised Godden has been dropped). However, I’m not a fan of Kitching for Binks. The latter has looked really good, while in his (albeit limited)...

I thought there would be more praise for DaSilva, he was our only outlet for a lot of the game and is so tidy and composed on the ball. Lati is clearly not a RWB, but did an excellent job in still offering something offensively, which I doubt many out of position CB’s could do. I thought...
