Listen, you have to give every player a few months to “get” the club, and the club to get them. We’ve seen so many players take time not just from signing but even just returning from injury. Robins and co have certain standards that enable certain ways of playing. We’ll get there.

Basically an extra friendly isn’t it? And with a deeper squad hopefully less worry about tiring out first teamers.

How much needs to be done before jail though? Scandinavian countries have a whole different approach to childcare from the state from birth. I’d bet the inequalities are less once they hit adulthood.

Anyone who has watched us the last nine months and thinks Hamer is worth as little as £5m is nuts or on the windup frankly. He’s literally the difference between us winning and losing games. What would you pay for say 10 or even 20 points a season? Cos that’s what he’s worth to us.

I can’t see us doing that, we’ve always played four across the middle with one or two behind the striker(s) I can’t see us changing from that. O’Hare Palmer and Sakamoto are AMs. At CM after Sheaf and Hamer it’s Allen, Kelly and Eccles. None of which are close to giving us what Hamer does.

He doesn’t play CM though.
