    Transfer targets

We are crying out for an 8. Someone who naturally drives out with the ball and can play that critical final pass.

    Transfer targets

It’s probably quite insightful from a Barnsley perspective. He has named their 2 replacement targets.

By Alan Nixon Barnsley are keen on a deal for young centre half Mattie Pollock at Watford for their defence. Pollock’s name came up in talks with the Hornets asked about Callum Styles and remains on the radar. The Oakwell club have also asked about MK Dons centre half Jack Tucker but...

Bidwell also left Swansea to join us because he wasn’t starting …. I’d like him as a squad member but you couldn’t blame a player for wanting to play.

I think Obikwu needs to stay and train with the first team more regularly before a loan if you loan players out too quickly they not only don’t play much but they then get inferior training too

Grimes has signed a new 4 yr deal for Swansea. We can rule that one out.

    Robins dilemma

Your comments are irrelevant to me. You consistently make Nadine Dorrries look like an intellectual heavy weight.

You can normally read a lot into the way answers are given and to be fair to Robins he can be very honest at times

    Robins dilemma

Vik was clearly carrying an injury and was being double man marked towards the end of the season. His lack of goals was much more understandable.

    Transfer targets

Latest Robins interview doesn’t suggest anything is imminent, confirms he wants 4 more, but to be honest he isn’t asked particularly insightful questions ….. nothing on how close ? Nothing on uk or foreign markets Nothing on loan vs perm Nothing on progress on replacing Hamer

    Robins dilemma

Must be aimed at his gaffer too because Robins hasn’t spent £11m on 2 strikers because he thought Godden would be one of his first choice pair !!

    Robins dilemma

He had a poor end to last season and was poor at Leicester. Most fans, myself included, want him to do well, but that doesn’t mean we should pretend he has been. I have never bought the logic that a striker getting into good positions but not scoring still means he’s had a good match. We don’t...

Ok Mrs Godden. A bit early for that much Chardonnay isn’t it !

    Tom Holmes (Reading)

He’s only just over 6ft … I prefer the central defender to be taller and potentially dominant in the air …. That said you could see Thomas transition to that role.

    Tom Holmes (Reading)

Thomas and Lats can play RCB…. I’d only add to that position if it was a potential future star, not just another squad player. we still need LCB, Attacker, 2 x CM before any other positions ….

    Robins dilemma

🙄🤣. You saw the Leicester match right ? Neither player has looked sharp so far, 1 muss hit tap in doesn’t change that.

    Robins dilemma

Young lads yes, apart from that , no. Most players are selfish and only happy when playing in my experience. just as players don’t mind the rotation principle as long as it’s not them that is rotated !

    Robins dilemma

No. I’m saying he’s not a natural impact sub. If you have injuries / suspensions etc then he is good cover.
