Sounds like he wasn’t for sale until recently.

If you can afford £15k/year, you are wealthy whether you choose to admit it or not. Another customer of the private system here with his totally balanced and neutral views.

Its who those people are though and are they “good customers” or “bad customers”. If you pick out all the easy operations or we’ll behaved and supported students of course it has a negative impact on those remaining. This isn’t theoretical in education it’s well documented with the effect...

These are not mutually exclusive statements. You’ve got a player like Gus you pay him £25k/wk.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Maybe an influx of Tory voting parents with sharp elbows and the ear of the government is just what education needs? This is the same logic that says private healthcare helps the NHS. Cherry picking the most productive and profitable parts of a system never helps the other parts. See also...

    The Replacement

Vik was a huge amount of entertainment value lost, Hamer is the rest of it until O’Hare is back. Really hope we don’t get some nondescript CM in. Or if we do there’s room elsewhere for someone who gets fans off their seats.

Said the private school student. I don’t see how it would force them out of business. Just put up fees if they have to.

His key passes and ball recoveries have always been outstanding. This idea that he’s only been decent since January is a nonsense TBH. He’s missed 6 games in three years from suspension and three of those were 6 games into his first season. The last two years he’s missed a game a season from...

By the same token no one wanted Vik and he was the best striker in the division.

This is my worry. Thomas, Latibeaudiere even Sakamoto are reasonable. Once you get above £2m for a player they really need to have instant impact.

The level he’s at is at least an outstanding Championship player. His stats are ridiculous. As I say CMs getting double figures goals and assists is pretty much unheard of outside of a few big names across the top divisions. He’s widely seen as the best player at this level.
  13. shmmeee

    Hamer

No. He’s six years or so older for a start. But I think he’s a level above the vast majority of players I’ve seen in sky blue in 36 years regardless of the level they played at, and writing him off as “a good Championship player” likes he’s done a tour or Swansea, Bristol and Stoke in his career...

For a 28 year old though?

    Hamer

We’re going round in circles. I’ve rated him the highest of all our “big” players since the first season he was here. It’s fine if you don’t, but I’m not claiming nostalgia and old age memory are clouding your judgement :P Whether Cal comes back as Cal is a whole other question, but he doesn’t...
