CET: Nearly 40 managers have applied so far.

Isn't it time you put the vendetta against Thorn to bed and move on? He's gone, it's over, your dream has come true, now stop boring everyone!

    Thorns final gift....

I reckon you were part of the fanbase which wanted him appointed. :thinking about::facepalm:

    Thorns final gift....

Skill is the key trait in performance...

    The one that got away

We signed 9 players when the embargo was lifted...

    Radio Commentary - Shocking?

    Stuart Linnell is a joke!
  6. Mucca Mad Boys

    my favourite "new boy".

All the new signings, bar Ball + Brown have looked very good signings. Best signing so far, for me, Barton, PNE, Westley should be kicking himself, oh wait, he's a hoofball manager! Though he is closely followed by Jennings whom I and Astute/Astute's son and others have bigged him up. Those...

    The one that got away

I though the same, but, it was uncertain whether we was going to come out of the embargo, so he understandably took the opportunity to play for Swindon. Missed out big time!

Starting XI and subs - now we've seen everyone play?

Knowing Baker, he'll do shite against Crewe, he's too hit and miss. He staked his claim to start, it's a close one for the 'hole' position!

Starting XI and subs - now we've seen everyone play?

Starting XI: Murphy Clarke Malaga Wood Hussey Jennings Barton Thomas Fleck Cody Elliott Subs: Dunn, Edge, Christie, Kilbane, Baker, McShef, Ball* *Hopefully we replace him. With that, I think top 3 is realistic, but we'll prob come top 6.

    Cyrus Christie

He played there in the academy, he's quite tall, decent in the air, good at tackling, got pace. Bit like Keogh.

    That Guy

It was pretty funny up until he punched it up the 1st time, he was a tw@!
  12. Mucca Mad Boys

    Cyrus Christie

Christie, imo, looks like he has got the attributes to play CB. Rest the starting CBs, play Willis RB v Burton, may aswell.

    Cyrus Christie

Like last season, when he came on last night he was very good, he looks like an improved player n all! But let's cut to the chase... I think we should give him a run out at CB against Burton, see how he fairs because I think he could do well there, that's where he played in the academy.
  14. Mucca Mad Boys

    Reece Brown

But Hussey nor Clarke claim they can play there.

    Thorn v Shaw - A comparison

We didn't really have more width, just Barton and Kilbane covered their full back, something we were doing under AT. Whoever went to the game and looked at the shape would've seen we were playing the diamond, until McShef came on where we we a little higher, but we still kept the diamond shape.
  16. Mucca Mad Boys

Who do you want as our new manager now?

Who do you realistically want as our new manager? I'd give Shaw a chance but I don't know if he'll do a 'Thorn' so for me, for an unemployed manager, Wise but I want Greg Abbott.
  17. Mucca Mad Boys

    Burton Albion

You have to play a certain amount of players that played in the last league game, so we can't field a "B" team
  18. Mucca Mad Boys

Changed my mind give it to Richard

Which I have said, it is more down to the manager than the system (imo) as it is ridiculous to suggest if we'd played 4-4-2 last season, we'd be in the Championship!
  19. Mucca Mad Boys

    Things we found out tonight

It was the diamiond! Not 4-3-1-2 nor 4-1-3-2, besides they are basically the diamond!

    The Cark Baker Show

He has put in some cracking crosses in the last couple of games, an area he has improved on!
