Perhaps he should try and team up with Doug, what with his five top premiership players he has lined up and Doug Kings few bob for new recruits we might be contenders for the premier league title next season.
Don’t know about the other schools but he was definitely at Woodway sometime. I ran a football team around the time the Specials burst on the scene and some of our players went to that school and were boasting the fact he was ex-Woodway.

Played okay overall got to get that final pass better, Albion dangerous though they seem to burst into life then drop off again, they should have scored though.
It does, bit of a mystery but after his kidnap ordeal he most likely moved schools, perhaps more than once and he stopped going to school at all at 14/15.
Possibly, the original Sidney Stringer school opened in 1971 it replaced Priory High where the bus depot is now. That would make him 12/13 so your reference to that incident is possibly correct.
In the past youth team players were taught the rules of the game don’t know if they do now, but knowing the rules and applying them on field of play are two different things.
