    Match Thread Walsall v Coventry - 17th January 2004

Already getting pre match nerves for this one. Can’t beat the first streamed game of quarantine. Always my favourite day of the season.

    Peter Whittingham

I went to Henry’s. Don’t remember him at school at all?! edit. Just googled, you’re right. Turns out he was a older than I realised.

    Peter Whittingham

He often used to play 4-a-side at Connexions in Ryton. He was a couple of years older than me but we played against his team once or twice and I always followed his career after that. Think he went to Bablake? (Could be wrong) so shocked RIP

Is it any different to the summer break? If the remaining games of this season are played at the end of this summer, won’t it all be the same.

    22 Premier League next season

If we simply run out of time to finish this season before starting next season and the decision is to void promotion / relegation. At the very least, next season should start with a points handicap based on the current standings.

    22 Premier League next season

It would benefit us short term but would also make staying up next season really tough if 5/6 teams were relegated.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Trouble is there is only a handful of teams in each league that won’t want the season voided. The teams at the bottom will want it voided and the teams in the middle won’t care. I know for certain the comments on here would be different if we were down the bottom.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I keep hearing the word “contagious” - as in, Boris should have put a plan in place by now but it seems to be taking the contagious

    Gael Bigirimana

Agree. He went further in football than he ever should've. He had the benefit of media hype due to his story and playing first team football at a young age (mainly because of needs must) which won him the young footballer of the year award and put him on radars. Still not really sure what his...

Wow, thought he was well older than that. When I saw he was at Chelmsford I thought it was just because of his age but loads of 35 year olds playing regular football in the premier league still. Ronaldo is 35, for instance.

Player of the season so far

What’s interesting is if you read the first page... the most votes go to Mason and Shipley (who was an ever present in the team up until Xmas).. now both are being kept out by players that aren’t even in the conversation for player of the season (McCallum and O’Hare)... shows just how good we’ve...

Anyone else not sure what to do with themselves?

Well you’ve clearly been waiting until you had a cracker like this one :playful:
  17. harvey098

    Stat shit again-sorry.

Yet people are still demanding we mess with our defence and change our LWB for a player we’ve seen 10 minutes of.

    Ipswich trouble

It genuinely takes some of the feeling of a win away from me when our fans act like bellends. I hate almost everything about football and if I was to try and get into watching football as an adult I don’t think I could but it’s too deep in my veins now
