I get that, but the point still stands. A cup round drums up excitement amongst the fan base and players. We brought ~40k to Wembley for an actual tin pot cup, and during one of the worst seasons in our history. The interest is there, regardless of which competition.

Don’t get the nonchalance. Yea it’s not the end of the world by any stretch, but a cup run is enjoyable as fan. See Wolves and Man U as evidence; two memorable experiences as a CCFC fan. And it doesn’t automatically mean it detracts from the league performances either. We weren’t great tonight...

Cannot get ‘LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA LA’ out of my head. My partner just asked me why I keep humming / randomly singing Kylie Minogue. I did explain, even if she didn’t seem to care!

Still think he can offer something. If he can find some confidence he’s a good Championship striker. The obvious massive caveat is that he’ll have to actually find said confidence, which he’ll need some game time for and he’ll need longer than most, as he seems to be starting at 0% confidence.

Anyone know what happened post game with the QPR fans and Kolli (their 26). He went over to them on his own, after pretty much all the rest of his team had already gone down the tunnel. Loads of stewards around. Couldn’t work out if it was all kicking off or he was just apologising and actually...

Their LB looks very out of his depth. Good to see Rapha get a go later.

Had to get an Uber to the game today due to logistics this morning. Was expecting nightmare queues but straight to the ground, no traffic at all. Extra pint FTW.

Can’t work out if Torp is trying to be funny or he’s just genuinely that awkward - or a bit of both!

    Victor Torp

Technically he was always a class above but his fitness and physicality were always the issue. He has hopeful nailed that now. As he can be one of the best midfielders in the Championship. I love technically brilliant players so I hope it’s a stand out season. He isn’t a Hamer replacement...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Surprised at the ‘players head is turned’ part. Ultimately Sheff U will be challengers but so will we. And if they lose Hamer their squad is considerably weaker. This isn’t a Leeds of last season or Ipswich this season who are calling. Got to be a money thing (if true).
