    Lee Burge

We desperately need an experienced keeper. Someone in the mid thirties.

    Stuart Pearce

Ask Man City fans their views on Pearce. Season ticket holders I think saw Man City score 1 goal under his tenure between new year and the end of the season. Loves a strong midfield ala Chris Coleman which basically consists of 5 holding men who would happily never have a shot. His teams play...

January: Allsop, Coulibaly & McQouid all back to Bournmouth?

Wouldnt be surprised to see the Martin/ Clarke deal made permanent in Jan. Tudgay will have his contract terminated and I think we have a chance of luring Nouble here permanently.

    Tipped to Win vs Orient

Im the ultimate pessimist when it comes to us but i think we will win tomorrow. Possibly even handsomely.

    Gary Madine

Fully agree. If we hadn't signed Nouble this may have been a possibility. Can't see it happening.

Aaron Martin coming in. Clarke going to Yeovil

Wonder if we may be after an experienced goalkeeper or back after Diagouraga.

Aaron Martin coming in. Clarke going to Yeovil

I think this is very positive. I hated Clarke. Cant believe hes been here so long. You can count how many good games he had on one hand (and have at least 3 spare fingers). I think this is a clear sign Pressley has dropped the 5-3-2. He had previously said he sees Willis as a right back. Martin...

Read an excellent article about Notts County recently and Shaun Derrys success. A lot of this is down to the partnership with Greg Abbott I believe. They have done exactly what we need I think - he brought in an experienced goalkeeper in Roy Carroll who has been immense for them.

Someone said on another thread at times its actually like he is playing Championship Manager. He has overcomplicated things massively since January. Last year after Clarke left, admittedly Wilson was injured which caused obvious problems, but when Wilson came back he basically had the chance to...

He strikes me as a very inexperienced manager still learning his trade who basically doesnt know what hes doing. When he first came he played 4-5-1. Then changed to 4-4-2 for the start of last season 'because he'd seen Borussia Dortmund play it'. After Clarke and Wilson were out after Jan some...

Formation no better than Thorn's diamond

Not trying to be smug with this but I posted this 4 weeks ago. It is glaringly obvious to everyone the formation is an absolute disaster. Pressley needs to fucking change it. While he's at it go and get an experienced keeper on loan, and for fuck sake get a midfielder who might maybe have a shot...

    The fans are an embarrassment

If he starts with 3-5-2 against Peterborough he should be sacked before kick off. We will undoubtedly lose to Peterborough but the manner of the defeat cant be like the last 7 games.

The Philosophy / System of the Group (3-5-2)

It is absolutely unbelievable. I think Pressley has done a ridiculous amount of damage to his reputation since January. He is clueless.

    Oldham Match Thread

In some ways I find this laughable how bad we are. In other ways it absolutely infuriates me. The formation needs fucking changing Pressley. Are you blind?????! Games are coming and going without us having a shot. I cant ever remember this on such a regular basis!!!!! He is on his way to be...

    Team for Oldham?

Hopefully Nouble will be fully fit. Id like a front 3 of Nouble, Maddison and Jackson. Would also like to see Burge start.

    Nouble

Sounds like he has declared himself fit on twitter.

    Allsop

Not a big fan of Alsop but just saw the goals from yesterday and Clarke is comfortably as culpable as him for the 2nd goal. Clarkes concentration will never be good enough to be a professional footballer. He would be released instantly if I was in charge.

    Spark or flair player

Agree fully with this thread. The whole side is devoid of pace, goals, flair and excitement. Madison is the only player who offers something different and should be given a chance in my eyes.

    Maddison

Needs to start. We are crying out for this type of player.

    Pressley Out

Its not all entirely down to money spent. Attracting players here over the summer would have been very difficult due to the Sixfields situation but it worries me that Pressley doesn't seem to acknowledge the importance of midfield. Our midfield players will not score goals at any level of...
