    Middlesborough interested in Clarke

A premier league player who has has contributed to more clean sheets in a month probably than Clarke did in about a year.

    Middlesborough interested in Clarke

Be amazed if he ends up playing any higher than the likes of Jermaine Grandison. Never rated him at all. More fool Middlesborough if they end up taking a punt on him based on a couple of goals for Yeovil. Hes been in and around the team for five years and been consistently poor.

    Simeon Jackson

Nouble did ok particularly 1st half yesterday but reminded me of Adebola at times. Didnt really have the ball under control at times. Would love us to have a natural left sided midfielder. I mentioned on another thread Maghoma from Sheff Weds would be ideal in my view.

    Simeon Jackson

Ive moaned on a few threads after todays game mainly about our 'potent' midfield... But just to provide some balance I was very impressed with Jackson. He seems an intelligent striker and he gambles off Madine. I think the two of the them could be a real threat if we actually recruit some...

    Jim Obrien

I hate our entire midfield and thought he was probably the best of a bad bunch but hes been dreadful the past few games Ive seen him.

    John fleck

Fleck is really starting to infuriate me. He creates absolutely nothing anymore. Although I have to say O'Brien frustrated me more today. The midfield needs a complete overhaul.

    team for tomorrow

I want to see some purpose from the team selection. Madine, Nouble and Jackson starting. Wouldnt mind seeing Thomas back. Hes been no worse than the other clowns in midfield. Bell was always injured. Fleck is the new Stephen Hughes. Plays every week and plays crap every week. His best season...

    F**k Off Pressley

Feared the worst when i saw the team. I say it every single week but where are the goals coming from in that midfield. The sooner we give up on Barton and Fleck the better. We cant afford to have two passengers.

How many L1 managers would like Madine, Jackson, Tudgay & Nouble in their Squad?

Very difficult to be too critical of the strikers when we dont create chances. Midfield is the problem. I want an overhaul in Jan with only O'Brien out of the current lot still here. Fleck, Barton, Thomas are too content to just move the ball sideways. None can protect the back four or are...

    Jordan Clarke

I wouldnt care if he scored 20 goals a season from defence. My health couldnt take watching another 5 years of him never putting in a challenge and daydreaming in games.

    Jacques Maghoma

Firstly this isn't a thread about hearing a rumour or anything I'm just pitching a possible name for a player we may be interested in in January. Notice he scored 2 against the U21s today. Hasn't had much of a look in this season at Sheff Weds. Seem to remember Pressley was very interested in...

    Nouble

Think Pressley realises we need a big man up top. Madine is miles better than Nouble though. If Sheff Weds call Madine back then I would expect Nouble back in the starting XI.

    Port Vale Match Thread

I fear the 24 hour recall clause on Madine will be triggered by Sheff Weds. He is a very very good player at this level. Hopefully a few good results between now and 1st Jan could help us entice a few players in the transfer window. I actually think the back four looks quite strong. I would like...

    Walsall Match Thread

Madine and Pennington played very well. Fleck and Finch isnt the answer in the centre. We desperately need a bigger goal threat from that position.

    Walsall Match Thread

The central midfield is absolutely non existant. Fleck and Finch are holding hands in front of the back four. Until Pressley realises the importance of the midfield this turgid shite will continue. Set pieces are our only hope of having shots here.

    Colchester Match Thread

Andy Turner is adament that its 4-4-2. One thing we should have today is threat from set pieces with Reda, Martin, Webster, Nouble and Madine.

    RATINGS - Dare I Ask ??

Whilst I admit we were shocking today, no team could play anything on that pitch. Its a disgrace. Today should have been 0-0. Notts County were easily as bad as us... But again mainly down to the pitch. Barton is not the answer. Offers nothing. I actually thought Finch did better than him. At...

    Midfield

Ive probably put this exact post about 3 times over the last 12 months. It offers absolutely nothing and no chance of any goals. Finch and Barton were holding hands in front of the back 4 today. Pressley doesnt seem to recognise the importance of the centre of the park. Barton offers not. Finch...

    Lee Burge

Notice Burge has taken himself off twitter as well. Probably fearing the amount of abuse he was going to get.

    Frank Nouble

Strange one with Nouble. After the Peterborough game he seems to imply him and Johnson motivated the team to the comeback not Pressley. Him and Reda sound like big time Charlie's to me. Beginning to think Pressley is struggling to keep hold of the dressing room.
