Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Exactly this. Pension pot and housing are the most common forms of wealth. I wonder how many people are like me living in a smaller house with a family than their parents are alone. There’s got to be smarter ways of working this out than a bunch of families waiting for their relatives to die...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Just blew me away. It’s all housing wealth but still. I’ve started this fight before but generally speaking pensioners are a very well looked after demographic. Because they vote and every MP will be one one day. If there’s money going I’d give it to families over pensioners every day TBH...

Especially when you consider that it’s likely wealthier parents have fewer kids to distribute across so the wealth gap is only going to get more pronounced next generation.

Im 25 years from retirement and don’t look anything like getting close to that. Until my pensioner parents die and divvy up their assets of course. Which I’m hoping doesn’t happen in the next 25 years!

Yeah probably. And you are in fact a millionaire in that case if the house is paid off. What to do with the cash poor and asset rich has long been a problem.

Not sure if you’re intentionally missing my point or if I’m explaining myself badly. Goddens strength is his positioning. I imagine that’s also the role Simms is there for. Playing them both together means you hinder one. Usually Simms because he’s newer so the team know Goddens movements. I...

This is always the way. Because of the mental reaction I’m now forced to do down Godden. This will trigger Evo who will days he’s Clarke Bourton reincarnated. Then Grendel will show up with some chuckle emojis and before you know it everyone’s Israel Palestine over team selections. It’s just a...

He’s been handed three on a plate two by Wright and one by Eccles. Let’s be honest. He takes up good positions. But maybe without him on the pitch our other poacher would have been there to tap them in instead but also have offered something the other 89 mins. Robins says he’s there because he...

Saw a stat earlier. 1 in 4 pensioners are millionaires.

Tories won’t be happy until we’re a nation full of crowdfunders begging for rent and medical bills like the States.

Who said he hasn’t adapted? That’s my whole point. He hasn’t played a minute without Godden next to him who wants to be in all the same places. Give the man room to breathe.

I think he’d add goals and all round threat. His historic record is comparable to Goddens. Hell come good and minutes in his legs are worth more financially in the future than minutes in Goddens 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s one game. I’m not advocating Godden is taken out back and shot.

You want to take him out the team for four months?? After a grand total of 220 minutes of league football? Seems ridiculously harsh to me. If Godden had played the same minutes he’d have scored one. We’re five games in, it’s far to early to be making these kinds of decisions. Before we write...

I mean from set pieces. Even if not in the box we tend to play Godden as the one up and I think Simms would be better there too. I don’t think he’s played badly, I just think he’s not played without another striker standing on his toes and would like to see him given a shot.

Torn. On the one hand just been posting about how onerous planning and environmental concerns massive inflate the cost and time of building in this country. On the other this seems a funny place to start. Have you got anything on why this is an issue specifically? Like what are the likely real...

Think we’ll have less of the play and Simms is better defensively and has more pace. Godden has played every minute of every game. He can have a rest for an hour.
