    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

There is certainly an unfairness to it all no doubt. The whole of Year 11 have been placed out until the 27th November - but nearly all of them have already been out for self isolating since mid October. That’s the year group that has the biggest cluster of cases and they all link together. It’s...

How would people feel about allowing convicted lifers for murder to be euthanised if they chose to?

How much does it cost to employ 315 nurses?

To be honest I don’t know how I feel about capital punishment - I can see arguments for and against. I can certainly see more justification for it in the more severe crimes, and there is the idea of absolute guilt as well. I do think shmmeee has a point about cost of housing life criminals not...

Our school have put 40% of the school population out on a 2 week ‘firebreak’ on the advice of PHE, because we have had a cluster of cases (11 confirmed positive so far with more waiting for results) across 2 years group that can be directly traced to one another. We have 565 kids out of school...

I don’t know much about why the death penalty was abolished to be honest.

How much does it cost to employ 315 nurses?

Not saying he did, and I agree that you may have a point about how we spend money on housing horrific people like this. But the comparison is meaningless (and deliberately emotive for a reason) when there are so many other things that money is wasted on.

How much does it cost to employ 315 nurses?

Boris spaffed £50m on a bridge that never even got built. That’s about 1600 nurses I reckon. We should do the same with the Dido Harding projects...

    Strictly cnuts dancing

I can see the appeal of something like X Factor, The Voice as it’s about giving people a break that may have some kind of discernible talent. The others though - especially like Love Island is beyond my level of comprehension. If you want to get your clunge out then just go on OnlyFans - you’ll...

    Remember 2nd April 2018 - embarrassing day

It’s funny you know when you say that it’s almost like we needed them beatings at those points. Imagine we’d have gotten a draw out of one of those games, didn’t refocus and we got turned over by Notts County in the SF - especially bearing in mind where they ended up too.

    Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine

Thank you - it’s certainly really helpful. I would definitely want her to have the vaccine, I’m not sure where she fits in the order of priority as it’s very adults focused from what we’ve seen so far. At the moment she is in the ‘vulnerable’ category - but not the clinically extremely...
