    Great actors in crap films

Yeah, too big a clue, and way too early. :) Bloody good player though, imho, would have improved any team at his peak. Better actor than Steven Seagal too, though not a patch on Ossie Ardiles as Hamlet.

    Great actors in crap films

I was thinking of someone who actually worked for us for a while, and apparently we tried to sign him in his playing days too. Top moustache.

    Great actors in crap films

Steven Seagal in.... no, wait, I'm thinking of crap actors in crap films, sorry. He looks like a wardrobe wearing a coat these days, acts like one too. I quite liked Dressed to Kill, alarmingly enough, though it is a long time since I've seen it. Escape to Victory is an absolute classic...

Sound advice Monners, but showing my ignorance here what's an EA?

Would you have sacrificed cup final for L1 survival ?

Fair play to you Wingy. I wouldn't want to encourage any CCFC fan to stop going to the Ricoh and watch CRFC instead, but if you can do both a season ticket for Cov Rugby is bloody good value. Only lost once at home this season (to the runaway champions) and have been recruiting well already...

Apparently Avon's skin-so-soft moisturiser is the way to go. And if it doesn't work, at least you end up with a lovely glowing complexion. :)

Would you have sacrificed cup final for L1 survival ?

Take your point which is entirely fair, but didn't that Archimedes bloke (played right-back for Brazil in the 70s?) say something about this... It even comes in gif format, so it must be true. :)

    The Great Outdoors

Buzzards are pretty common around Eastern Green and Allesley Park from what I've seen. You'll often see them getting mobbed in flight and chased away by the crows, whom I reckon are from Tile Hill. :) The reason I've been told is that Buzzards, despite their size, mostly feed on carrion which...

    Torch's Counselling Thread

I'd love to help but I've pulled my bootlace. Physio says it's a grade 3 tear, so I'll be unavailble for actual physical work for at least 3 - 6 months. Had that Yakubu bloke sat next to me in the waiting room funnily enough. Lovely chap, very still and peaceful.

So you want to buy CCFC......

Ah, technically speaking CD I think you do need to be involved to bring a JR. Below from http://www.publiclawproject.org.uk/data/resources/6/PLP_Short_Guide_3_1305.pdf Who can bring a judicial review? You have to have an interest in the decision you are challenging to bring a judicial review...

Bugger - if so I apologise for being snappy. I wish he'd have given me a clue though. Where's the 'facetious' emoji when you need it, eh. :)

LOL! I hadn't realised that WASPS (previously known as LONDON WASPS) had moved to Coventry NOW. Thanks for putting me right. Coventry City: Dowells Field: 1883–1887 Stoke Road: 1887–1899 Highfield Road: 1899–2005 Ricoh Arena: 2005–2013 Sixfields Stadium: 2013–2014 (ground-share with...

Would you have sacrificed cup final for L1 survival ?

Personally, no. L1 is a poor standard of football, L2 whilst disappointing is really just more of the same. We've finally had a bloody good day out at Wembley as a unified bunch of supporters, and won something too! No way I'd swap that for survival in the third tier, though I appreciate...

Wasps are not nomadic. I'm sorry but this is a deliberately lazy form of expression that people use to justify hypocrisy. It's almost as though people don't know what nomads are. Wasps were based in London from their origins (which they notably haven't disclaimed) 150 years ago. Their fan...

Tax fraud, at Newcastle? I can't believe Mike Ashley would stand for that.

    llameres accident

Ah, you're probably making the tourist mistake of only using the road rather than the bus lanes and pavements (or dispatch-rider only lanes, as the latter were known in my days in the big city). Get a wiggle on granddad! :)

    Bigi

I can't help but think that Bigi's agent is a bit of a self-serving arse. I'll bet that a two or three year deal on modest wages looks a lot better than a one-year deal on crap money, especially now we're relegated and the wage budget will decrease. It's not as though we wouldn't have sold him...

Why, when you know the answer? How about this one for you. If our owners for 'business reasons' decided to move us out of Coventry again, would you take it on the chin or would you pout and whine and cry and bitch about it? Actually, no need to answer, because like you I already know what...

Mate, just because Wasps pay you a few bob doesn't mean that you've got to pretend that you're stupid. Do you want me to give you the dictionary definition of 'nomadic' too, it's just that I sense that you might make out that you don't understand that either...
