I'm out of my depth? Really you have no idea. But okay - you win Samo, I'm out of my depth. I was trying to post about the Council and SISU and the opportunity to make something positive happen. I have answered basic financial costing questions and questions about feasibility. I've spent a...

Correct. Correct. The money however, belongs to the people of Coventry, not the Councillors. It seems to me that certain Labour Councillors have forgotten that fact. The Council is in place to do the bidding of the People who elected them. Not sure if selling to the Wasps was the will...

Objectivity? From the person who calls people "Oaf" and brands people "racist" based on their uninformed opinion? Words fail me!

"Gentleman" Sorry, but this is uninformed, un-researched, over opinionated, bilge. The only party to outright BAN former members of the BNP is.. UKIP LABOUR have former BNP Councillors, Prominent Members and Activists. LABOUR have had Asian Councillors quit on them in 2014...

In terms if money it is very possible. The Council "loaned" ACL about £15m to pay if the bank loan and have now got it back. They (Council) originally stated that the Loan was on Commercial Terms since they would get a better return on the money and be able to secure a Community Asset...

I agree with the Labour hypocrite mantra - so very evident even today. CCFC had originally invested in the Ricoh and got a raw deal in the end - no question. SISU brought a lot their own problems on themselves by trying to bully the Council and ACL. It's backfired. SISU will struggle...

True, UKIP have attracted more than their fair share of unsuitable people and when they do the press go to town. UKIP find it hard to find people who can stand being yelled "Racist!!!" "Fascist!!!" at by the uninformed / over opinionated. The harsh, inevitable truth is that you either...

Andreas, I did a quick Google, here's the link to their policies. http://www.ukip.org/policies_for_people What usually happens is: 1) Liebour and Conservatives slate the policy 2) Liebour and Cinservatives copy the policy

Let's leave the politics there I still think it commercially and community minded to build a new stadium for CCFC in Holbrooks. I think it will pay for itself and will be another asset for the City. If the Council and CCFC have any sense they will sort it.

That's a quote directly from George Galloway! No one is shouting boo at Johnny Foreigner. We need immigration, NHS and others would not survive without. Some people want open door, some want Aussie style policies. The EU isn't working - it's costing us £55m per day. If we came out out...

I 100% agree. The personal attacks for posting about how badly the Labour Council have let the City down are a bit off. I love Coventry, hate what's happened to the City and the Club.

For whatever reason, UKIP in Coventry are second favourites at the bookies (ODDSCHECKER) (ahead of Libdems, ahead of Conservatives, ahead of Greens) for the next General Election - hence the comment only alternative to Labour. I personally dislike Labour - you personally dislike UKIP. I...

    Neil Warnock is available

Looking at our team, Warnock would be able to get more out of these players than most. Madine and Nouble are a definite Warnock-type strike force, J o'brien is a Warnock type, Reda would fit his style and so on. Warnock gets teams promoted by battling. Doesn't cut it in prem but could get...

    Changing plans

I think that there is a sliding scale of disaster. Relegation from L1 - L2 is a disaster but not as bad a disaster as going from L2 to the Conf. Look how long it took for Luton to get back. L2 is still in the League and attendances and incomes don't fall as much as they do in non-league.

. True. SISU have been a nightmare to deal with. No doubt at times some of the key people involved (PWKH, Council Senior Officers, etc.) would wished things different and regretted ever being involved. From a business point of view though now, the Ricoh (we are led to believe) makes profit...
